There are a wide array of quests available to you in Escape From Tarkov, so many that it can be confusing on which ones you should be worrying about. Today we will be going over some Low Priority Missions in Tarkov that you shouldn't worry about completing. With that we will also cover tasks that are very High Priority to complete, as they give some of the best rewards in EFT and will set you up for success!

Scavs are attracted by sound, if you need to lure Scavs somewhere throw a flashbang or smoke grenade, they will come and check.

A general rule of thumb focus on quests that have a quest line and put less focus on one-off quests that don't lead to anything. Or avoid tasks that don't have good rewards/unlocks.

Reconnaissance gives you access to tier 5 Korund plates from Prapor 3 which I think (?) is the first source of T5 plates you can get. Personally wouldn't have it on the "don't do" list.
Second that, just got this done and it was hell even as a USEC. Now I can throw lvl 5 plates in a 6b23 for total confusion.
Seeing as you get the “kill 10 rogues in water treatment,” I just took that as “grab an SMG and brawl some raiders”
3 raids later I’ve killed my 10 raiders and all I have left is to survive a raid to complete recon

The key does not spawn in the mall anymore. You can only spawn with it in a scav or find it on an AI scav. The room itself doesn’t have any good loot in it anymore. The consensus is that this was a reactive change to combat vacuum cheaters.

Hi man just want to say thanks for all these videos. You’re the only creator I’ve seen actually break things down and make it easy for new starters. I think a lot of these other creators forget how difficult tarkov is at the beginning and stuff that seems ‘obvious’ isn’t so obvious to someone like myself who has 70 hours game time. Really appreciate these guides man and have made my experience so much better so thank you.

Killing PMCs should really reward you with more xp than right now. almost all of the quests require you to survive a raid making it your number 1 priority if you want to level up. so essentially if you are mainly questing you will avoid pvp to minimize the risk of wasting time.
you can fight a trio as a solo and kill 2 only to die to the last player and gain less exp than a daily that you can complete from your hideout. it makes no sense... the game should promote killing players more than just waiting for them to leave so that you can do your quests and gain shit tons of exp without firing a shot (but at the cost of your enjoyment from the game)

It's funny you said this, I'm level 60 with less than 100 PMC kills, but nearly 2000 total kills. More than half my experience is from tasks. Didn't complete Punisher 4, TS 4, or Shooter Born.
Aside from a few bottleneck PMC kill tasks, it's 1000% more efficient to just avoid players.
Oh and ragman streets task I say is worth doing, forces you to learn the map and like 15k-30k xp per task went from 35 to 39 in 8 raids

the convoy quest gets you the compass though, which is honestly pretty essential for a new player. im 5 wipes in and i still bind it to 6 and use it occasionally when i lose my bearings on woods or streets
I’ve never found that key in the blue jacket, I check it anytime I pass there.. but buying expensive quest keys early wipe is dumb.. just go by there later in a raid and 90% of the time someone opened it for you.
The jacket in the trunk was the primary source for 114 key sinse the beginning and it had spawn chance close to 100%. But few wipes ago they decreased the spawn chance greatly (probably to throttle players progress) which made the key very valuable. So the key is still there, but you have to be there first and do many tries. Kind of how it was with OLI logistics key before.

I realized you skipped over mentioning Revision - Lighthouse. The reason I want to do that task is for M80, but is it worth it in the first place if I just get M62 at PK4? Trader rep isn’t much of a concern since I have EOD, and I make good money in-game. No experience fighting Rogues however.
tl;dr Skip revision - lighthouse in favor of M62 at pk4, or do the task and get m80?
M80 is PK3, and the task is easy if USEC.
I mentioned it several times in other videos so thiught it wasnt important
Either tank batt. craft or scaving in for the batteries seems to work best. It's like 400K for the tank battery so the scav runs are likely more expensive when looking at the opportunity cost. But it's still a viable option IMO.

I’ve given up on questing I’m now at the point where once I hit 30 I just aim for pmc kills and run my main reserve

Setup was turned out to be one of my favourites quests. When I first started, I just ratted. But after abandoning and coming back to it. I just went to fortress off spawn and got the remaining 7 kills in like 4 raids.

Do you have any tips for getting Jaeger rep? Im currently banging my head against the wall for Tarkov shooter part 3. I've all the other traders lvl 2, but I cant get enough rep for that guy
Take a vpo215 with apm into factory and pray. I am god awful at pvp in Tarkov but I managed to get it done the other day using apm
Replace unnecessary daily or weekly tasks (both from him and the other traders) until you get new ones from jaeger. Sometimes you get 0.1 rep for some found in raid splints and Bamdages or similar. Take it easy and dont sweat the replacements, otherwise they tend to get pricey.
Also keep an eye out for lost rep by replacing, only replace those that cost just money.
search mission gives you a compass, which is really useful if you have less than 1k hours in tarkov and dont have every map perfectly memorized, also useful for duo/team play to do better callouts, again for people with less than 1k hours

stirrup: with the new recoil changes AND the quick-swap feature for a secondary, is very plausible kinda like grenadier. just be sure to carry the thing u need every or most raids.
You're gonna use nades to clear or check areas in ur raids and you'll find them too. same with pistols, instead of reloading, if u have a pistol u can swap. there was one raid where i ran out of ammo in mags, on my person and container, a grach i found either from a scav or box saved me from a player.
Correction: 3:00 - Operation Aquarius part 2 is not the dorm 114 quest. That quest doesn't require a key. "Pharmicist" is the one that requires the 114 key that you are talking about. The Pharmacist quest is required to get numerous other quests from therapist, including Health care privacy, etc.
The usec camp task from prapor is actually useful id say cuz that chunk of xp early game is a big help

Labs, Woods, Shoreline.
If you need it found in raid, play woods at night and check all the spawns. Woods can be hard to nav at night and if you don't know it well I recommend playing offline day raid and learning POIs and roads/directions and then trying some night raids with no aids (flashlights nor NVG) and try to get to areas without getting lost. It's especially useful to learn to nav at night well if you like to scav because you won't have night tools on scav very often.
Another place I've found ledex is at lexos in the two crates that are on chek building side.
And shoreline has a ledex spawn that is in a room that doesn't require a key. I sometimes find them in that spawn spot while scaving.

@@TickleMePinkGaming I wouldn’t be surprised if they changed it tbh. Compared to all the ammo they locked behind tier 4 traders or stupid long quest lines m80 is a huge outlier considering its damage and pen. In my opinion its definitely be far the best ammo this wipe.
Everything needed for network provider part 1, beyond the red meat part 2 and revisions lighthouse are the main ones you should focus on for getting the most out of the game.
the quest i always rush for every wipe is the last chemical but turn it into therapist for that early injector case.

Can we get a tips video on audio? Like How to use audio effectively in PVP encounters. Some common audio cues to listen out for, subtle cues typically missed, ways players may abuse audio, good headsets for specific sound profile,and tips to determine direction of movement.I know tarcov audio is mostly mastered through experience and map knowledge but this is something I still struggle with even after 1700 hours.

Of note. If you are poor and are new to the game, Search Mission will give you a compass, plus it is really easy. Seaside Quest unlocks aluminum splints

Setup is horrible, but it definitely has its moments. Feel like I did setup well on other wipes but this one was tough for some reason
153 is better in this wipe. Felt like "nothing to lose" gun and easier to run with confidence

I agree with this all but I would say getting out of your comfort zone and challenging yourself to do these task will only make you a better Tarkov player. We die and die and try again until we survive, that’s through thick and thin. Over time you will learn more just trying to go places where only the strong survive

One thing about samples, i have heard that moonshine is better than intelligence for those, intelligence tends to give you keys, yes can give you injectors but moonshine apparently tends to give quest items a lot, so i have heard moonshine is better for sample.
Moonshine gives you valuables
The only reason I do setup is to get camera’s unlocked for my shooting range upgrade

My tip to add would just be adding on to what you said about the woods quest that are pointless and stacking them up along with other quests you have on woods and again with long road you said save it for if you are doing other quest on light house basically do this with all quest even the ones that aren’t pointless stack up a bunch of quests on one map before starting that Map if you finish a map out as much as you can before moving onto the next one, you’ll get a lot more quest done imo
this is my first wipe so max traders is my only real goal but the guide is probably the one reason I'll probably never ever know the feeling of getting kappa

It drives me crazy when people insist on doing quests which have no logical reason to do them, i.e they don't lead anywhere and don't give a reward that's needed, and you aren't close to being the next level. It's like, dawg, I'm not gonna go out of my way to do this quest which gains you nothing but annoys the crap out of us both just cause you're stubborn. It's happened with 1 or 2 people, I no longer play with them...

because you dont know whats after that quest the game doesn't tell you whats next. not everyone has played for years and wipe after wipe im at about 512hours and idk the quest lines. i generally will just do quests on maps i enjoy or if the quest seems easy enough to do regardless of quest line because idk whats important or not or whats after the quest
i just spent an entire week seaching for the 114 key on PvE tarkov and that quest locks all of therapists next quest, level 31 and i had no quest for her but that 114 quest xD
therapist colleagues part 3 also has a black keycard reward so its definitely not a waste of money if you have been lucky to find those stims

I've been doing Pest Control at the same time that I need kills for Punisher 2... And yeah *nothing* comes over there if you're suppressed other than Pscavs and maybe the occasional PMC.
to be honest, for the smokes scav Ground Zero theres sooo many cabinets and smokes laying on benches its impossible not to complete that quest passively lol
Disease history doesn't go into seaside vacation, atleast not at the moment. It says in the wiki that it does but seaside vacation opens up earlier for some reason. Also the cold blooded quest is pretty much useless yeah but if you're just chilling you can break your leg, pop a painkiller and get those two headshots quite easy
test drive is huge in my opinion cuz u get the pab 9 craft and its pretty cheap alot easier to unlock then sp-6

Reconnaissance is one of the earliest access methods to get lvl 5 armor though
The only thing with setup, which I didn’t rush, but did relatively early was, it felt easier doing it earlier because everyone’s gear was shittier, now some of the higher level PvP players are coming back. Like a few of these I feel like I rush, because I know the later in the wipe i try them the harder they become.

@@TickleMePinkGamingYou just scav every chance you get and stockpile them. I save them and the cigs for bad habit right when wipe starts. It really helps to know what to save on a fresh wipe so that you're either turning things in as soon as the quest pops up or wearing in things you saved for quests that require specific items be worn.
8:27 not doing Set up locks out the option to purchase mk47 mutant from skier (unable to do the bullshit quest), and this thing is banned on flea, which effectively stop you from finishing gunsmith 23 (and gunsmith 24 later on) - unless you are lucky enough to find one in raid

I used to love the punisher quests but I wasn't very happy that this wipe I had to go to lighthouse. Doing part 6 is nice cuz you get ps ammo.

3:23 wrong, op aquarius pt 2 is just killing scavs on customs, pharmacist is the 114 key quest and that quest is crucial for the therapist questline.

Even though stirrup isn’t high priority, I’m still gonna hardhead it until I get it done lol. I say hardhead it but the last 2 or 3 wipes I’ve gotten in done the first try lol. Same with the bolt action task for kills at 25m.
And I'm over here level 29 this late in wipe only halfway done with setup
