Let me ask if I understood right. Basically emmc partition ROM1 is replaced by a working version of a similar tv model. Everything else stays the same.
So, if I find the JTAG pins I wouldn't even need to unsolder and reball the chip ? I could flash in the memory in place !?
Where can I get the rom1 ? Looks small enough. Maybe I could even mount the rom and fix the issue. It sounds like some sort of "disk full" issue.
I have a SONY KD-49X8305C with boot loop, and really hate throwing a good tv away because of a stupid software issue.
