bro there's wireframe modifier that saved me a lot of time, is there a difference in using your method over wireframe modifier or did the wireframe modifier come to blender after this video was made?

To do this easier with non destructive editing, I purchased Curves to Mesh by Mark Kingsnorth. A brilliant add on.
