My mom tried to steal me and my brother away when we were young and after a country wide man hunt that my dad and his attorneys did they finally got us back home. That’s when custody changed and we moved in with our dad. He provided a very stable life, with no chaos or fighting, with rules and chores, and with plenty of great times. As an adult I’ve been able to slowly discover all of this and recognize it all. When I lived with my mom, I used to go sleep at the local church just to get away from all the fighting and screaming, we were never on time to school, and it was extremely stressful all the time. She did her best, but her best was terrible. Some shit happened to me too from older kids and some stuff from ymca counselors and even my moms gay brother (which was my uncle.). I can’t exactly pinpoint what happened or what didn’t happen. When I go to think about it it all feels like dreams, very confusing and impossible to remember. I’m fucked up, I’ve had drug and alcohol problems my entire life and never Been able to hold a relationship with a woman for more than a couple years. Or I’m drawn to really messed up women who have their own problems too. I get it man. Its confusing and it sucks. I try not to talk about it or think about it. But I feel like it’ll cause me problems my whole life. I’m 30 now and I’m mostly normal but yeah, still got a lot of issues that bewilder me.
