12U spring 2024 game. Ends in controversial (terrible) decision.
Line judge notifies Jays Head Coach of "40 Seconds" left in game play. Offense completes a pass to the 7 yd line setting up 1st and goal, using up 5 seconds of clock (stoppage at out of bounds) Line Judge calls the pass complete, goes to set new down and Ref calls the game with 35 seconds left to play on 1st and Goal. This was very clearly a Go ahead TD to at minimum tie and force OT, and possibly win outright.
Ref did NOT want to be there. Did NOT want to officiate an OT period and just walked away with his fingers in his ears.
