This legislation is Paddy Gower's ONLY chance to get his job back anywhere, and should be voted against for that reason alone
This bill doesn’t pass the sniff test especially when it has Willie Jackson’s name all over it
National are behaving more like Labour all the time. I'm happy I voted for ACT. ACT and NZ First are what's keeping our coalition from being a center left government.

In short, rather than delete 'co-governance' from the statute books, the new 'fast-track' consenting scheme proposes giving local iwi the same rights of representation on the most powerful committee as local councils.
It shuts the public out, while giving new legal rights to iwi (and only iwi) to have their say.

The real question is, is he in favour of NZ benefiting most from its national natural resources or to be given almost free to multinationals in promise of "economic growth" like OZ lost $400 billion tax revenue to big oil.

Get onto scraping co governence.... Luxon is stalling on this.... I want to see ACT as the majority next election.... With NZ First would be fine.... National have been okay but need to solve the co governance before crap like vapes and phones in schools, that should have been the very first thing.
