Similarly, wrong casting choices can ruin an entire film. With the casting of Emraan Hashmi as Azar, what felt totally off was that he is short, while Azar is a tall man. This was the biggest casting flaw. No matter how good an actor is, there should be some basic similarities in appearance. Looks can still be altered with clever use of prosthetics and makeup, but not so for height.
No one can touch working style like SRK he always gives his best
Fortunately I haven't watched any of those movies. I would give a bad casting example of my own and that is Nargis Fakhri in Rockstar. That film could have been a modern classic if it had a better actor as the female lead someone like Kangana of those days or Deepika/Alia of these days.
Welcome back mein everyone talks about Akshay Kumar ji not being there....but Feroze Khan sahab not being there was also a big difference...Naseer ji despite being a great actor could not fill the spot...
The dialogues were cringy, VFX was terrible especially when the whole film is done in front of green screen and John is running over camels was hilarious 🤣

Prabhas was not worst choice..the director was worst choice...Prabhas is definitely Good and has presence as Lord Ram ..but character portrayal by Om Raut is Outlandish..If this was Made by able directors definitely Prabhas will enhance it multiple folds.

Desi Boyz, Garam Masala & Houseful 2 are some examples. just that he plays that part the best when it's in a duo. He & akki really play it well off each other and matching akki's level on screen in comedy is really not everyone's cup of tea

Yes, that is an unpopular opinion. He was terrible in those movies and was carried by better actors through those movies. Housefull 2 can't even be called a movie.

IMO, Amir Khan in Dhoom 3 was a misfit. Infact I want to see Akshay as a villain in Dhoom series since quite long.

I don't understand that what was going in the mind of the makers of Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar not only did poorly act but his very casting was a blunder as he is in his mid 50's and Prithviraj Chauhan died in his early 30's. And yes, as usual Arjun Kapoor is good for nothing.

Main actors in movies are cast for the money their name will get the producers to invest in the project. Which is why the same big name actors keep getting cast over and over. (In Hindi cinema, though other Indian cinemas also work on the same principles.)

Prabhas is right fit man but is utilized very badly by the director. He already played the character in bahubali which has lord ram qualities.
