2:06 *"From The Queen to The Duke"*
Funny you should say that. Here's some Royal and Political connections...
*Bradford* is the main filming location of *The Duke.*
*Bradford* is also the main filming location of *Peaky Blinders* contrary to what most people believe, and has had *Winston Churchill* appear in the show twice in *Bradford* locations, along with *Oswald Mosely,* one of which was used again in this. I'm also fairly sure *Winston Churchill* appeared in another 2010s *Bradford* production, however I can't remember what it is.
*Bradford* had at least 2 locations used in *Victoria* series 3.
*Bradford* had at least 1 location used for *King Charles III.*
*Bradford* had 1 location used in *The King's Speech.*
That same *Bradford* location (among others) was used in *Gold,* for the main scene which *King Edward VII* attended, along with a few more global royal and political names, whose names I've forgotten.
*Bradford* was also used in *Gunpowder* which featured royal and political figures, however I can't remember if they appeared in any of the *Bradford* scenes.
*Bradford* streets were transformed into *Moscow* for *The Crown* just a couple of weeks ago.
And *William and Kate* came to *Bradford* in the same weeks that *The Duke* was being filmed in *Bradford.*

Narrator says "The Duke tells the true story..." Well, not exactly. In movie it's portrayed that Kempton Bunton returned the portrait after cca six months while in reality he kept it for four years.

I was going to make a snarky remark about them being lucky to be still around to make the promotional rounds for a movie that they completed work on three years ago. Then I found out that it was the director who didn't make it .
Roger Michell died last September 2021. Might have given him a posthumous shout out.

Piece of guerilla marketing for a movie that's been sitting on the shelves for three years and that hardly anybody will see. Thanks for the info, Five.
