Beret I wouldn't recommend leaving the blaster primed, though, because it can ruin the spring if left that way for a while.

Found that you can upgrade the spring with an OMW 8kg mega magnus/cycloneshock spring. Fits perfectly, not too strong for the internal mechanics, and gives it that extra kick. Nice!

I have one of these, and I've found it seems to work pretty well with the X-Shot Darts.
Do you think the dart zone super darts worked so well due to the tips or the fact they are a little shorter than most darts?

Walcom, I thought this blaster I found at TRU might match your taste in primary blasters:

It's a pistol sized crossbow that reloads quite easily, breaks down very compactly, it gets 50 feet stock according to the box. It seems to me that simply using shorter strings will give it more tension and better range, though I have no idea how much more tension the arms can take before breaking, they are some kind of flexible metal. The darts it comes with are a bit thicker than normal nerf, but not as big as megas. Shouldn't be hard to epoxy the ammo slot to fit smaller darts like standard nerf or boomco more easily. Theyve also got a larger crossbow in this brand for 20ish.

Using stefans, could you possibly feed and fire 2 rounds at a time, since theyre half length darts?
would this make for the only tolerable dart 2-shooter besides the rough cut if you integrated two of them together?... I have a feeling you'll find out
I had a Monorail but it wasn't good. It may be a different one but mine didn't work out the box, jammed constantly, couldn't take other darts, the blaster only hit around 30-40 FPS. The pump also broke. Again, yours could be different but mine was awful and the plastic quality was... Buzzbee. Keep up the good reviews!

Have you used superdarts in a sledgefire yet, becouse they work insanely well
so does xshot darts work I don't know if xshot blasters are sold in usa they might work better

the darts with larger tips like waffle and accustrike tips i notice tend to jam more, so i think the Koosh darts will be able to work for this blaster

If you can upgrade the spring, somehow add a slamfire mechanism in it, brass the barrel and maybe add some pusher mechanism to push the darts in the chamber to feed reliably you could have a hell of a nerf blaster.
you could theoretically use a ram rod to get the darts in where you want them
As I'm sure you found after a while it does jam a lot, but clearing jams isn't particularly hard. I haven't been to a war in about a year but I do want to jam it.

I would paint over the sight with like black paint and it should be useable :D
I feel like this is more of a prototype. There could definitely be a future in this type of mechanism, but it's definitely got a ways to go before it's war-worthy

I picked up a Green & Orange one and that stupid rectangle slide at the front of the barrel will grab the head of a dart, especially Blue Waffles, and bend it in half which creates the jams. I filed mine down from a hard edge to a slope and lubed it. No more jams.

You should do a mod for the Monorail similar to the Mare's leg you did a while back and make one lever-action, it'd be like the 87 from far cry 4.

I probably won't get one because I don't want to have to buy a bunch of dart zone darts just to use it, the grip doesn't look comfortable for me, and I already working on an internal tube fed pump action shotgun that is much more like a real pump action shotgun.

This thing still jams like a mother flapper. Darts get stuck in between the breech and the tube ejection system. We need a much better way to seal that section if we want to make it breech loading.
So basically just make a larger opening on the bottom breech, and make the focusing mouth thing as you would expect.
Well for less than $15 I'd say this is an alright blaster for those who are looking for an RSCB-type system but don't have the know-how to make homemade blasters. And yes, I know that there's the JSPB kits but those may be too expensive for newcomers.

Personally, I liked the name 'Rail Blaster', it makes me think of some sort of Gauss shotgun.
I hope this will be available at Walmart. We don't have Target here in Canada, and I'm not sure we have K-mart either.
As for its' performance, I've only seen one other review of this, and given the mechanics of it, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a significant amount of lemons.

This thing might have some mod potential, a spring upgrade might work well considering that it's a pump prime
A tube fed blaster would not work well with foam darts as they get softer over time, and they would cause jamming. For a tube fed blaster to work reliably it would have to use a stiffer dart like a boomco dart.
It may not be the absolute best or most practical blaster, but god damn is it fun.
