Sensational. I weep at the way we played these in the 1970s....we had much to learn from the historians. For us, just having a harpsichord was a renaissance!!!!
Le sonate a tre di Vivaldi ,sebbene non fossero in sintonia coi gusti del maestro , non sono male ,questa registrazione non mi piace , suonano troppo veloce , se suonato con i tempi giusti ,rende di più ,dipende da chi suona .Vivaldi ,amava un organico strumentale abbondante ,le sonate a tre per intenderci per lui erano come dire solletico ai piedi , non apprezzava tanto scarsi strumenti .

That is not in the original score. Continuo is just made up by the performer. That is also why every recording sounds like different music.

If you talking about Folia, it is a "standard" of the time. it wasn't created by Corelli, it was popular music. Many composers made their versions. Serenade is also a variation.

Trio? in what sense? It seems to me I hear more than 3 instruments playing.
Triosonata means that the composer wrote 3 parts (2 treble parts for e.g. 2 violins, and 1 bass part (the thorough bass a.k.a. basso continuo)). The bass part can be played on a variety of instruments, usually a cello or viola da gamba and harpsichord (which is entrusted with providing a full harmonic realization of the basso continuo part) Often the cello and harpsychord are doubled by a lute or baroque guitar.
