Although as a kid i wouldn't have put that music on by myself either, it did create good memories though. Maybe note it down and do this with your own family later on in life, if you want.
I see the piano as a person, a soul. Anyone can listen but few know how to communicate with it. If you are in this world full of magic, let your soul communicate with the piano, it can connect you with anyone and anywhere.

July 2024. It's a beautiful starry night in Willis, Texas. I can not sleep, and I listen to this beautiful music of Chopin. Chopin is just so calm and relaxing. I love Chopin
Thankful to God I knew at four years old that I wanted to play. We had an old Chickering (sp?) Upright that I learned on with my Mom sliding a piece of. cardboard with the notes marked above the keys. I am 78 yrs old and my piano, now a Bosendorfer , has been my life's companion. One of my closest friends is Russian pianist of high caliber. Hoping to get my granddaughter started on the piano, although she is also doing karate!
Wonderful to hear this. Karate will not be the problem. It will be the boyfriend 🤨 My daughter was playing so wonderfully- beyond any reasonable expectations Her piano teacher was thrilled and preparing her to level up to audition for a couple of conservatories she was seriously considering when she started seriously dating, and she sidelined her interest in piano altogether not long after. He's a good young man and I like him. He encouraged her to continue, but her heart just wasn't in it anymore. So i can't blame him. But the lovely antique blonde Knabe grand I bought for her now gathers dust. I hope it turns out differently in your granddaughters case.

Les nocturnes de Chopin sont la solution pour mettre du cœur à son ouvrage. C'est une oeuvre alchimique et magie (redondance). Peut- être est-ce une histoire de sensibilité, d'ailleurs surement, ce n'est pas qu'une musique, c'est un questionnement qui trouve ça réponse en lui-même. Le fait qu'il soit mort à 38 ans est quasiment une preuve d'un mysticisme échevelé. Il nous a laissé un trésor, il a transformé le plomb du piano en or lyrique, il n a hélas pas eu de pendant pour le sauver à moins que l'élévation n'a été pour lui que la seule clé. En effet, on pourrait comprendre, la beauté ineffable de l'ineffable. Bon éveil à tous🙂

It is very important in English and in other languages there are separate words for house and home. The latter is more personal, intimate and cozy. It is where the soul is too. When I was at boarding school I was in a school house and communal dormitory. Although some people meant well it was a distant unloving place where one dared not show ones emotions. Chopin is not concerned with a house like that - he is concerned with the intimacy of home.

Lamentablemente, no puedo alejarme físicamente ( me refiero al domicilio, ya que vivimos bajo el mismo techo) , él empezó a jactarse de que estábamos separados hace 25 años... gracias a Dios de que nunca más tuve contacto físico ... pero hace 20 años de que hago psicoterapia y tomo antidepresivos...hace dos o tres meses que empecé a ponerle límites, desenmascararlo con sus amigos le devuelvo la indiferencia, falta total de preocupación por su salud ( me caí, me golpeé la cabeza muy fuerte , lo único que hizo fue ayudarme para que me levante, no me llevó a la guardia médica y me dejó sola ) Dije basta, que existe el karma lo aseguro, el también se cayó fuimos al sanatorio y después eligió quedarse con la madre... me dejó servido en bandeja para despreocuparse totalmente... está desconcertado, no siento culpa fueron 40 años de cargar con culpas ajenas... Mil disculpas, pero necesitaba desahogarme, espero que no me juzguen mal...

Dios de que nunca más tuve contacto físico ... pero hace 20 años de que hago psicoterapia y tomo antidepresivos...hace dos o tres meses que empecé a ponerle límites, desenmascararlo con sus amigos le devuelvo la indiferencia, falta total de preocupación por su salud ( me caí, me golpeé la cabeza muy fuerte , lo único que hizo fue ayudarme para que me levante, no me llevó a la guardia médica y me dejó sola )
Dije basta, que existe el karma lo aseguro, el también se cayó fuimos al sanatorio y después eligió quedarse con la madre... me dejó servido en bandeja para despreocuparse totalmente... está desconcertado, no siento culpa fueron 40 años de cargar con culpas ajenas...
