Thanks Mike. I especially like the tutorial on fish being up shallow but seeing fish on the sonar massing up in 17 ft. of water. As a lure maker, that gave me the idea of targeting that 15-20 ft. depth with the new lure ideas I'm working on. Please keep making content.
I hate it when I loose a fish specially a big one! Mike, thank you for posting another great video, you are living my dream! I have been looking for a used kayak like yours but no succes finding one. I think I'm going to buy a new one. I have put several hunting tools for sale so..fingers crossed.
Yeah, losing fish is part of it. Can't really get mad about it. Learn what you can from it and move on. I hope your kayak search ends soon. I'll keep my eye out and let you know if I come across anything. THANK YOU!
Thank you! I always check for road closures before deciding where I'm going . I've had to go to backup plans several times this year due to road closures. I've also had to drive through 4 active fires zones and one fire started while I was out fishing. 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thank you! Ya know, I fish all year so I feel like I get pretty acclimated as it begins to heat up. Plus I keep my bare skin covered as much as possible and bring ice cold water to drink. Makes a big difference. I'm pretty comfortable most days. Sometimes when there's no breeze I feel like I'm getting a bit cooked but those days are rare. I also start fishing at least 30mins before sunrise and unless the fishing is amazing, I'm off the water by noon.

You are very welcome! Let me know what you come up with. I'm always looking for a dropshot substitute. 😀

What's your favorite AZ lake for a big quantity day? Even if they are small bass?
Alamo is #1 for quantity for sure. Most underrated fishery in AZ imho. Decent size also (2-3lbs avg)
I agree with Mike I would also add Bartlett lake to that list for sure
lol wait?? Is
This Bartlett lake?? 😅
@@dustinsfishing1420 Bartlett is decent also. Alamo is way less crowded imho. Bigger size average as well.
@@dustinsfishing1420 Close! This is Horseshoe Lake.
Lake's camera action you put out some fantastic videos it's too hot for my ass to be out there
