Hi, I am from U.S.A, my family really enjoys your videos and my dad never sleeps without watching your amazing videos at night. Keep up the good work!!!
Dear Mr. Harish, We love your work and your soft spoken tone. You are showing us the amazing places & food joints in Delhi(nowadays) and around our Great Country.
I have been there before the lockdown and enjoyed the Karnataka food. My favourite dishes are kesari bath, ragi dosa and thali. The ambience of this place is just awesome.
Lots of love and respect to you sir. Most authentic video vlog on TH-cam. Sir please consider 12 jotirling yatra or 52 shaktipith yatra when the situation stables in India. Love from Melbourne 🇦🇺.
This gentleman takes me back in days when we used to have Doordarshan and the hosts were so qualified, humble and presentable. Awesome sir. Keep doing good work and share more such wonderful mesmerizing vidoes. Your voice in the video takes the channel to another level.
This place mostly serves food from Udupi and Old Mysore. North Karnataka and the Malnad region have it's own flavors. Jovar Roti, Biranji, Saoji Pulav, Saoji Mutton Curry, Dharwad Peda, Gokak Kardant, Jovar Dosa are some viands, which come to my mind. You should visit Belgaum and Hubli to savor these delicacies. Belgaum has some fantastic tourist spots like Gokak Waterfalls, Jamboti and Amboli (Hill Stations). When it comes to Malnad cuisine, you can try Chigli Chutney (Red Ant Chutney), Ede Sambhar (Crab Sambhar) and Maralu Meen Saaru (Fresh Water Fish). Visit the hill top towns of Banakal and Samse to savor these delicacies. Alternately, you could also visit some of the coffee estates in larger towns like Chikmagalur and Mudigere. Do reach out to me before you come back to the South. You could also consider visiting Mangalore, Kundapura and Bhatkal. Kundapura is truly the food capital of Karnataka. It is a tough fight between Mangalore and Kundapura. Some must try viands from the coast: 1) Kane Rava Fry ( Lady Fish Fry) 2) Gawa Shayyo (Vermicelli Mear Biryani/ Pulao) 3) Gud Bud Ice Cream 4) Banana Halwa and Wheat Halwa 5) Aflatoon Poli 6) Shofa Panna 7) Biscuit Roti 8) Theek Roti 9) Neer Dosa 10) Bangude Fish Fry (Mackerel Fish Fry) 11) Raagi and Akki Manni desserts 12) Kalladka Tea 13) Chicken Ghee Roast 14) Neer Dosa 15) Mangalore Buns 16) Goli Bajje m.economictimes.com/magazines/travel/earthy-smell-of-arabica-coffee-and-kalpasi-spice-why-malnad-should-be-on-your-bucket-list/articleshow/59301893.cms

Congratulations on your first vlog post lockdown sir. It is really great. Though being a resident of Delhi, I have never visited Karnataka Sangha for food. Though my parents have always said it's a great place to eat. Thank you for showing this. Sir I would really recommend that you visit Andhra Bhavan on Sundays and enjoy their famous chicken biryani, mutton fry and chicken fry. They also have veg thali which is also delicious. Please note that chicken biryani is available only on Sundays
Harish sir.. thank you for exploring some of Karnataka food. As far as food is concerned Karnataka has a lot more variety to explore one such thing is as you mentioned in this video is Udupi sambar and Mysuru pak from Mysore. Kunda from Belgaum, Dharwad Peda, Gokak/Ameengad karadantu, North Karnataka food specials like dry chutney powders like Ground nut, Gurellu (black ellu) etc. Raagi mudde (Raagi ball) with Soppu saaru ( Saag ka sambar) Bassoppu saaru etc. sir you are most welcome to Karnataka for exploring foods n places as well.
This video is so refreshing! Amazing! Thanks for all the love for Karnataka. Next time if you visit any Karnataka hotel or the state do try the dish called Puliogare (a breakfast dish), paddu (or guntpangla), neer dosa, Davangere benne dosa (the best), and maddoor vade. You're always welcome here. Feel like home. Loads of love and best wishes from Karnataka. Happy new year 💐

Stay Safe Harish ji, Tussi Great ho, My Fav Travel Vlogger
You have made me start eating green vegetables which I didn't in last 4 decads..Before eating I remember you and imagine it to be a new experience and that I will develop taste..I have seen most episodes during lockout phase..keep up the good work
Great video Sir, as always. Firstly KUDOS to the Karnataka Sangha (pronounced with an extra 'A' at the end) for trying to keep their culture and heritage alive in Delhi and also giving Delhi-ites a taste of authentic Kannadiga cuisine. A couple of things struck me which I will share with you and fellow viewers. Karnatak cuisine is very similar to Maharashtrian cuisine, due to the greographical proximity but also because of the intermingling of the populations, I assume. For example, The "Kosambari" in the thali immediately reminded me of the "Koshimbir" which my Mom makes and is also very prevalent in homes in Maharashtra generally, however in Marathi cuisine, there is usually curd added to blend in and bind the ingredients. Also, in Marathi there is a saying "Holi re Holi ... Puranachi Poli" ... Puran poli is usually made during Holi and here it is called "Holige" ... what a fine example of cultural integration of our glorious nation. Also, usually, this is how the poli is eaten ... a piece is torn off, rolled and then dipped into the ghee (or milk) and then eaten. Ghee and/or milk are standard accompaniments to the puran poli in Maharastra as well. I will not say much about the Ragi because I don't like the taste too much and Mummy used to force me to eat it when I was small :) Thanks again to you and the team for bringing this episode to us. Looking forward to more in the future.
Good to see you visiting Karnataka restaurant and enjoying the food as well. Contrary to the statement by the cook, Bisibele bath powder is widely available in most of the stores in Krntka. You should visit our state and plan a few days as the way you did Kerala tour. Coastal, comprising of Mangalore, Udupi and Karwar, should be explored by giving enough time. North Krntka should be explored separately and South as well.
Sir aapki ki presentation itni acchi hai ki dil khush ho jata hai plus music aur aapki awaaz uss jagah k bare me jankari jo aap dete hai bahut fabulous hai.
Sir , are u planning to explore Karnataka in future ?? There a lot of good places to explore in Karnataka like Bangalore , Mangalore , Udupi , Mysore , etc

Hello Harish Sir, I am from Lucknow. I am enjoying lockdown on every Saturday and Sunday from fast few weeks. Also enjoyed your video you posted at time of breakfast but I watched at lunch time 😃. When is your next Lucknow trip
@Harish ji . This episode was really awesome and indeed Karnataka needs a lot of time to understand the cuisine as it varies from North Karnataka to South Karnataka. We have been living in Bangalore for about 6 years now and have explored a lot of Karnataka cuisine. We do get all powder like Bisibele Bath, Sambar masala, Puliyogare etc of MTR in amazon. All this packets have instructions and quantity mentioned to help make the dish. You can try this at home. We have used a couple of these masala and they are good. Sambar at Karnataka are different for morning and afternoon. The afternoon sambar is called Anna (rice) sambar and has vegetables and is little spicy. Whereas the morning one doesn't have vegetables and is little sweet as jaggery is used. In Karnataka we usually call dosa as Dosae. Have a wonderful day ahead and yes try those masala from mtr. MTR has a very rich history in southern cuisine.
Absolutely beautiful sir. I'm a kannadiga and I loved it. The pan thing that they gave in the end is actually ritual sir. We consider pan and betelnut as auspicious. Therefore, pan is an integral part of our life. Every auspicious gathering will culminate with pan, betelnut and chuna being served in the end on your way out.
Dear sir All your videos are different and delivered good knowledge about said destinations in india Kerla tour and goa tour was outstanding ... Thanks
Beautiful Video on Karnataka Cuisine.. Holige is Puran Poli in Maharashtra, here also we eat it with ghee or milk, and as you said ghee is a game changer..👍
I am a regular customer of karnatka restuarant and I am missing in this corona time I was confused that they might open or not stall but I have seen this vlog just now and I am so happy to know that these people now and I am now going very soon to this place thank god I have seen this vlog thanks to vlog maker

Thanks sir We love your video every time it refresh me in this pendemic where nobody wants to go outside . Continue your journey my best wishes with you
Hello Harish Bhai, I just heard you say that you are unable to prepare Sambhar at home. You can try to using Sambhar mix powder preferably MTR mix which is easily available in Super markets. And typically we sprinkle namkeen boondi on top of Bisi bele bath for better taste. I eagerly await for your videos on Indian food and places. Keep up your good work
Hello Sir, we are proud kannadigas currently in UK. W have been watching your one vlog each day after dinner, it's like our family time. Me, my husband and kids are huge of the simplicity in your vlogs. We liked your observation on our different sambars for breakfast and lunch, yes they are not same😊 we missed our far away home Bangalore even more after watching this episode.
Sir I am from Udupi but live in Mumbai, but I love food from Tuluvanad it's Udupi/Mangalore & I am happy that you are visiting soon to this land of great food & culture,in previous video I have commented to do, thanks 👍🙏
Loved to see you after so long Delhi ( Karnataka) food at its best Your video is 17 mins long & still it seems like 7 mins only ,keep doing the good Work !!
Mr. Bali, I have watched so many of your videos and I want you to know you are responsible for so much pain. I drool over everything you eat, but mostly you make me long for my pure-veg thalis. I have been in India four times, easily over a year in time total, and I would often walk out onto the street and start asking people where I could find a pure-veg restaurant for a thali. I am always pleased by the differences in the way they are prepared, and I love having many small dishes in one meal, like this one. I have traveled from Mumbai to Nepal, Chennai to Mumbai, Chennai to Kolkata, and the Seven Sisters. Food in India is wonderful. This particular meal, as many of the others you have shown us, looks amazing. One day when I come back to India, I would love nothing more than to have a meal with you and talk about India and what travel was like back when I first went in 1986.
Harish Bhai seeing you back on Vlog, made me emotional & made me come out of frustration. I liked your positivity about your Karnataka coverage plan in Jan 21. I was deeply interested in Udipi visit. Also plan visit in Pune & Kolhapur. I will help you to plan the same. God Bless you ! From Sr. Citizen friend
It's a pleasure to watch you videos Harishji.. The way you show places n explain food items are very impressive and useful even for a common man. All my family members are big fan of yours. We get a feeling that we have toured many of the states of our country. The best thing we like is your simplicity. God bless you and your family. Would like to meet you wherever u visit Bangalore 🙏🙏❤️
Sir, your all videos are awesome. I have been binge watching all of them. May God bless you with success and you get lots of subscribers and million views. The way you present and merge with people is what is good and unique from other travel videos. Your simplicity is your strength. You have the best videos for traveling within India. I will wait to see your videos on rest of the states as well as whenever you would explore outside India.

Uncle powder channagiralla. I prefer home made powders as my mom prepares yummy powders. 😋
Thank you @visa2explore for this video. Reminded me of my home town
Sir you also try bengali food in your place Delhi

Absolutely beautiful sir. I'm a kannadiga and I loved it. The pan thing that they gave in the end is actually ritual sir. We consider pan and betelnut as auspicious. Therefore, pan is an integral part of our life. Every auspicious gathering will culminate with pan, betelnut and chuna being served in the end on your way out.
Sir the prononcention is not utupi.. it's udupi.... love from karnataka😊
Simple Awesomeness of Subtle yet Overwhelming Taste of Karnataka....Thank You Sir!!! Please be Safe Always🙏🙏🙏

Hello Harish Bhai,
I just heard you say that you are unable to prepare Sambhar at home.
Loved to see you after so long
Delhi ( Karnataka) food at its best
Your video is 17 mins long & still it seems like 7 mins only ,keep doing the good Work !!
In Delhi this food outlets or mess exists a big WOW. He says 40 years they are there. Appreciable. Good explanation.
This is only incredible india dear.
Yes. Love my India
बहुत बढ़िया शुरुआत बधाई, साउथ इंडियन फूड आर टाइम बेस्ट thanks
Harish Bhai seeing you back on Vlog, made me emotional & made me come out of frustration.
I liked your positivity about your Karnataka coverage plan in Jan 21. I was deeply interested in Udipi visit.
Also plan visit in Pune & Kolhapur. I will help you to plan the same.
God Bless you !
From Sr. Citizen friend
