This was great Yozo! Incredible to believe that I was just recently there for almost 10 days and did not visit ANY of these cafes. There are truly so many great people making great coffee in Tokyo!
Just to compliment Tokyo's diverse coffee culture: I traveled there some months back and during my one week stay I visited around 20 spots, all of which ranged from good to exceptional. And only one of them, Single O, happened to be featured in this video! Proving just how many good coffee shops there are in Tokyo. The baristas at Single O were indeed nice and one of them (the guy on the right in the video) tried to speak a few phrases in Estonian with me after I mentioned where I was from. Fun! My own personal favorite ended up being aozora coffee stand in Nakano. They don't roast their own coffee, but the small, cozy interior, beautiful cups, unique food, warm service and obviously excellent coffee really won me over. It'll be the first spot I'll visit once I'll return there.
Just visited the 2 branches of Kurasu in Kyoto in the weekdays and I’m on the train to Kyoto wondering what shops to visit, it is a perfect video for me atm lol Ps: the ig links of all the shops is the best touch of the video, love it so much 😂
What’s your favorite coffee shop in Tokyo?
