Battle's shot was the Tyus Edney of the 2009 NIT! Cornley played on another level throughout that tournament and thru playing with basically one side of his shoulders in New York, but without Battle's prayer New York doesn't happen for the Nittany Lions! That was their lift-off
To me though, the signature was the road win at #1 seed Florida! The Gators were only two years removed from their back-2-back national crowns and had made the semis of the '08 NIT, so for Penn State to go into Gainesville in that pressure of a situation it put the stamp on them earning that '09 NIT championship
