A good robber alarm you can make. Take a spring loaded rat trap. Put a nail on each side where the kill bar will hit when it closes. Then put a bullet primer on each nail. Before that drill a hole in the wood under the trigger. Tie a fishing line on the trigger and run it through the hole you drilled. That is the trip line you put in the area where the robbers come in. Maybe just outside the fence where the dogs won't set it off. Now screw your alarm to a tree or close to you'd home so it will wake you up when it goes off and you can catch them. When this alarm hits the primer, it sounds like 2 guns being fired. It wakes you up and scares the poop out of the robber. He thinks some is shooting at him, so he may never come back.

Dexter- I love your fish but I have a question. I am a single mother who has been unable to work due to breaking my back and I was wondering how long you let the concrete cure before you can put fish in them. I have always been told that cement is not good for fish. do you used a special mix? I am from the United States and live in poverty but I am actually below proverty. I live in Oregon so I would have to have tanks inside during the winter or in a covered building with heat for winter. I also am in process of building a business right now with plants, and I make special baskets from stuff that people would not think of. I also have started to do fairy gardens and have just started making outdoor furniture with wood and planter boxes. Could you please give me some advice on how to make a cement tank for breeding koi which I have started my pond and have successfully breed koi this year and have about 10 to 15 babies this year. I am interested in how to mput together the hydro plants off of my fish tanks. Thank you for all of your advice and I love all the videos and fish. I am onto another adventure of trying to breed bettas to sell this next spring, or sooner if possible. Keep the videos coming and I have now subscribed to Dexter Jr. My son also is interested in doing a blog channel so I definately will have him watch and follow your son.
