  • The legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao has been in some incredible fights, in this video we talk about some fights in which we saw Manny Pacquiao defy his boxing opponents and transcend the thoughts and opinions of the world.
Some fights we talk about are the epic rivalry between Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales. We also talk about 'The Dream Match' against Oscar De La Hoya. Keith Thurman, Lehlo Ledwaba and Antonio Margarito are also included. Pacquiao has extremely fast hand speed and incredible boxing knockout power. He's the only 8-weight division world champion in boxing history, he's the only boxer to hold a world title in 4 different decades, he's also the oldest welterweight champion ever. Enjoy this video as we take a deep look at his fights, giving a unique outlook on them as well as an analysis.
Let us know in the comment section below what your favorite Manny Pacquiao moment is. Was it when he defeated men bigger than him, or when he took part in action-packed fights?

Pacquiao is only 22 at that fight.. I happened that he is recognized as 24 year old because during his pro debut he fake his age because the required age is 18 and he is only 16 at that time...He did not submit also his birth cert. because he said he left on his province and luckily they forgot about it and the rest is history...

I am a 74 yr old (soon to be 75) American that never cared much for boxing until I moved to the Philippines and saw Manny box the first time. I believe my dislike for boxing is because other than HEAVYWEIGHT championship bouts, not many matches are broadcast on over-the-air channels in America.
But when I first watched Manny box I REALLY began to appreciate the sport and particularly if "the PACMAN" would be in the ring.
I don't have any "special" fights or moments because I just LOVE WATCHING MANNY FIGHT! I only wish I had gotten here 10 years earlier so I could have seen more of his fights in "real time".

I have several favorite things that I like a lot about Manny. No matter who his opponent was, he fought all of them at his best, even Thurman at the age of 40. His speed, adaptability, and Southpaw ferocity are prodigious. He's also very humble, as he acknowledges nearly all of his opponents' own boxing skills in every post-fight interview. When he goes to fight, he doesn't do it for the money, despite getting paid. Instead, he does it for the fans, especially the hundreds, if not, thousands of Filipinos who come to see him. The love and connection for his fans is unquestionable.
Whenever he's at his press fight conferences, he doesn't talk trash about his opponents as they do about him, instead preferring to respond to them in the ring with his fists. Basically, it goes like this:
When Manny's opponents talk trash about him, the call goes out, and Manny's fists answer. His career and reputation in boxing is easily comparable to that of the sport's all-time greats such as Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. He's defeated many of boxing's greatest fighters in eight different weight classes, winning championships in all of them, which no other boxer has been able to do.

I thought that Thurman would fight defensively to try to keep his undefeated record but I was really surprised and glad that he would go toe to toe with Pacquiao.
