It's a good thing it's not popular, because when it is, there's such high demand that they are pressured to come out with new albums fast, so it turns out crap! Methyl Ethel is awesome!
Had never heard about this / these guy(s) before. I'm really liking it - it's a bit like Tame Impala going eletroclash or something. Terrific sense of melody and harmony. Definitely going to look for more. :)
Absolutely phenomenal when played in concert. Saw them at Brooklyn Steel in NYC last night and the performance was just awesome. Definitely was a little sad when they left for the headliner. Looking out to see them again!
Congrats for making this number #4 on Triple J hottest 100! :DD I remember loving this song at the very beginning of the year when it first came out and I'm surprised it's stayed people's favourite for so long now, guess that says something.
Saw you guys at Paris a few weeks ago while you were introducing Mac Demarco, it was quite a nice show ! I'm really happy to see that your studio work is worth your scenic performance !
My 2nd favourite song of the year, sandwiched between 'All Hail' by PINS and Corey Hanson's 'Garden of Delight'. This has the best accompanying video though. Fabulous.
I’m probably taking this totally differently but I view this as someone else asking me why did I cut my hair . Talking about my inner issues and then I feel like I’m asking myself the same question “why’d you have to go and cut your hair?” , and I take it personally because I only drastically cut my hair when I’m in a horrible place . I don’t know how to explain the feeling this song makes
Got this and ween's push th little daisies stuck in my head simultaneously. Think I've found the band's subconscious melodic inspiration ;) Both killer tunes though; super catchy.
this is dangerously catchy
Ooooh fuck yes 👌🏽🧡
Tots! 🤘
Seeing this live was amazing, the whole audience collectively lost their minds, head banging and bad dancing included
Heavy Cure influence here. Can't believe I saw these guys open for Abbe May years ago. Grown so much, good on you.
Thank god the 80's have come back.
his voice is so amazing
Can someone explain to me why AU Music is so good but its not so popular world wide?!
NinZo` people still think Australia doesn't exist...
America Doesn't have triple j.
Selfish buggers.

Minks Rule day that to “Somebody that I used to know”
I loved the video and the song, so dope
why'd you have to go and make a fabulous piece of art?
So obsessed with this song right now. Been on repeat for a few days no sign of stopping anytime soon. Cool video too. 👍🏼
darbs662 Same
My favourite song since it came out. I just can’t get sick of it

This has to be my total fall back to song every time. It's all great but Ubu is just precious.

Bass in this is a joy
Saw them live, bass player looks like Napoleon Dynamite
***reads comment and slaps face***
Ross Jesus Why did you just ruin my life?
The bass player is Napoleon Dynamite
Change up
It's pretty basic actually.
Absolutely amazing vocal ❤
I LOVED the Bass from 3:34 to the end. The song is great.

Saw this on RAGE and fell in love. Awesome band... shame Oxford is sold out of tickets. I would love to see you guys sometime.
This song kept playing as an ad on my pandora. Glad I followed up on it.
Not a BAD Song, Shazamed This Song in Five Guys and Loved It in a Heartbeat!
This gets better & better at each repeated listen.
My so 'go to' song every time I listen to these guys, love everything they do, but, this is THE song that stylises their image for sure.
Great track, great video, can wait for the forthcoming album (cover art looks great too) and tour.
My song of the year tbh
I don’t understand how this song didn’t blow up
Best song of 2017!
Such an earworm of a song!
YESS so so good 😍
The most delicious Bass/Drum riff my ear holes have ever tasted.
it leaves a little bit of dna in there
Why does this not have millions of views yet??!? I am very upset.
I got my hair cut yesterday and now I feel like I made a mistake...
Lol same I got it cut earlier today😂
same here
thankfully it'll grow back
Yeah, now every time I see someone has gotten a haircut, I think of this song.
LMAO
My favourite new band, can't wait to see them live

I heard this the other day. Absolutely brilliant and catchy! Kind of a Connan Mockasin vibe.
this song drives me nuts at work.

It kind of makes you hate yourself knowing there are problems in your life but you don't have the courage to confront them.
I like this a lot.

great song, cool vid!!!
Perfect song for tripping
This is art.
Came to check this band out after stalking my crush's social media to see what music they like and i'm impressed.
The swirls on the floor remind me of Alfred Jarry's woodcut of Ubu, the swirls on his tum.
This is like a kind of melancolic Mika talking about non existencial matters
Amazing song!
My fave tune

Great talent - well done xx
as some one who uses Methyl Ethel Ketone Peroxide on a daily basis i feel more connected to this band
