Yes, do the first press for just 5 secs and peel carefully, it doesn't have to be perfectly stuck, that will happen with the final press. That keeps it from shrinking so much. You're just tacking it down.

If you take the HVT that you cut before you press it and place it on your image you can line it up and trim it to the same size. I had it happen with a white glitter HVT I did, and it help me get the part that was to large cut off. Hope that makes since. This is so pretty.

The vinyl shrinks, so only press the vinyl for about 5 seconds so that it adheres to the shirt then sub for full amount of time. Hope this helps🥰
