I love the actors and they are doing a brilliant job but I do not know about the message being sent out. Adam bullied Eric for years... I am tired of those movies where the bully is just misunderstood and where all is forgiven at the drop of a hat. In a way it shows some high level of self hatred for Eric not to believe that he actually deserves better. IMHO his relationship with Rahim was much healthier.
Babacar Diouf I think this series dealt with it better than most. Adam had a proper arc through Seasons 1 and 2. We see why he was an asshole, his home life, his insecurities, etc, then we see him hit another low point in life, dismissed from military school and his job in a short space of time. He takes stock of the decisions he’s made. He isn’t automatically forgiven. His mother (and Rahim ironically) give him the strength and wisdom to make his final gambit for Eric. He has to put himself out there, own up to how he’s treated people, and start making amends. He stands in front of pretty much everybody he ever knew and pretty much proclaims that he wants to be a whole other person. It’s syrupy, a little unrealistic, but quite a good message mostly.

I love this video so much. And I love the complexity of their relationship, Sex Education is such an amazing show. Adam grew so much as a person. Eric made him realise he was not a nice person and he continued to make effort to be better. He became one of my favorite characters this season. ♥

When you love a person there's always a tiny part of you that is terrified that one day you gonna lose them. And I thing that your father is so scared of that emotion that he stops himself feeling anything at all. But you have to let the people you love know that you love them, even if it causes you a great feel of pain. Why? Sounds awful. Because you're alive!
This is so beautiful, I think the song choice works so much for both of them too! You portrayed so beautifully how they both found a chance at being themselves, but also how hard it was for them to even try (and probbably will still be in the next season.)

I am a straight woman, so I generally don't care about lgtb relationships on television and movies because of ignorance, lack of empathy, I don't feel identified, whatever. But these two, my God, I supported them from day 1! They are written phenomenally and made me cry on more than one occasion. I prefer them even over Maeve and Otis, whom I find terribly bland and obvious! They are the best love story of Sex Education, I have no doubts about it. I just hope that next season the writers maintain the level of love, interest and humanity they gave to this relationship. Adam and Eric❤❤❤
I’m sorry, I know Rahim deserved better, but I love Adam and Eric so much more! Especially the Adam in season 2. And when Rahim said “He can hold your hand, but can he catch you”, I may have screamed F**k you at my Tv cause I ship these two probably too much 😂
they will go through a lot, because gay couples never prosper in teen shows, and might even break up by the end of s3 just to prove that rahim's "right" about adam. I hope I'm wrong. their relationship is so delicate, I'm scared for these two 😭
