Fan Made Death Battle Trailer Remake: Mecha Sonic VS Mechagodzilla (SMBZ VS Monsterverse)

Connections:
-Both started off as robotic copies of a heroic/anti-heroic animal of sorts (Sonic and Godzilla) made by mad self-absorbed technological geniuses (Dr. Eggman and Walter Simmons) to defeat and surpass them.
-However, after absorbing an outside source (the other Sonic robots and the Hollow Earth energy), both would become powerful enough to break free from their master’s control, seemingly killing them in the process and destroying their facility.
-Both have an all-encompassing desire to slaughter anything and everything they encounter.
-Both are sentient and actively malevolent towards their enemies, showing signs of sadism during their respective fights. As a result, they are known to fight in extremely brutal and uncompromising ways.
-Both are infamous for a scene in which they mercilessly and easily destroy a previously-established antagonist to show how powerful they are (the Axem Rangers and the Mega Skullcrawler).
-Both have attacks in their arsenal that are meant to mimic certain attacks of their organic counterparts.
-Both also harbor immense hatred for their counterparts (TMS absolutely loathes Sonic, while Mechagodzilla, after being possessed, despises Godzilla with a vengeance).
-Both would eventually be faced with an alliance consisting of two characters in famous out-of-universe rivalries (Mario and Sonic (+ their allies) for Turbo Mecha Sonic; Godzilla and Kong for Mechagodzilla). The works they appear in count as crossovers for said characters’ series as well.
-Both are adaptations of pre-existing characters (the canon Metal Sonic/Mecha Sonic, and the previous Mechagodzilla incarnations).
