In June, 2022 I gave this phone to my father with lineage OS 18.1 OFFICIAL (Android 11 with latest security patch) & it's working flawlessly with Vodafone (GSM For better battery backup) although it supports 5Ghz Wi-Fi bands. No issues with internet usage. Probably the best smartphone released 8 years back.
Not relative to other flagships, as the phones around have gotten better and more expensive, so has OnePlus, but compared to the competition, OnePlus is still cheap.

I've had the OnePlus One since shortly after it launched, and I've only just felt the need to upgrade last month. The only reason I did that was the screen had a couple of spots developing where the colours were not displaying properly and there was battery degradation. It still works now though, and I'm currently using it as a dedicated emulator for Sega Mega Drive and SNES games. I've now upgraded to the S10e, and although I really like it and the upgrade is good, it doesn't feel as groundbreaking a difference as you would expect. The OnePlus One is a fucking phenomenal phone for it's age. I miss the sandstone finish too. It's got so much grip. The S10e is slipperier than a priest up a choir boy's robes.

I was a one plus one user for the past 5 years. It was my first smart phone. One thing that clearly blowed me away was its built quality,did took lot of beatings. I changed it recently due to battery issue, but seriously for 5 years!! Manhh it was such a great phone..
I'm still using it right now. Run smoothly, only instagram and facebook apps can no longer update make some features cannot be used (instastory and facebook search).

Im using OnePlus one for past 4 years and it's still working smooth. I have 3gb ram still pubg runs better on my phone than my friends :D just having a lot of ram doesn't make a phone good. A good rom matters too. Most of custom roms for OnePlus one are well optimised and I'm glad I bought this phone.

Watching this on my 3.5 year old, lag free, OnePlus 3. Absolute Killer 💓 Best decision ever was to up my budget and got for the OnePlus 3 back then. Future proof indeed. This made me realize how valuable these flagships actually are. When I upgrade, (not anytime soon) I'll make sure to go for the high end phones because they LAST LONG.

Bought mine back in 2014, had to have an invite to get it 😁 still using it to this day, but soon to be replaced with xiaomi k20 pro. Best 330€ spent so far. I've used this thing everyday for 5 years ! It went through hell, and 2 battery, but it does still works

My mom been using my old Op1 and it still runs so smooth. It's just insane how it's still running so well. One of the best phones I owned.

My first smartohone was Nexus One. Then after 2-3 years I got a Nexus S. Then I got a HTC One X. Now since 2015 I use a OnePlus One. I love this phone. This was my first brand new phone. The phone works perfectly except the battery because its old.

I would say Lenovo zuk z1 is better than oneplus one

OnePlus One is my first smartphone ever and still rocking this one.
Bought mine back in 2014, had to have an invite to get it 😁 still using it to this day, but soon to be replaced with xiaomi k20 pro. Best 330€ spent so far. I've used this thing everyday for 5 years ! It went through hell, and 2 battery, but it does still works
