    Hello Ludmila! Ruthie Kiley here. I wanted to tell you about something you may be interested in making. My friend visited Ecuador and loved the beads they make from the Tagua palm nut. It is very hard and looks like ivory. I know if anyone can make “faux Tagua stones” it’s you! Because you are amazing!!! Also, maybe you would like to make “faux Sodalite blue stones”? I luv you and your amazing work! 😉😊😘

    Людмила, а что дает для конечного результата "Glaze - patina extender"? Чем его можно заменить?

    • @SweetyBijouPro
      @SweetyBijouPro  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Татьяна, Glaze - patina extender - это разбавитель для краски патины.. Патина от Рэйнджер это краска, но для метала! Как и краска, extender быстро засыхает и не дает такой липкости как если использовать жидкую пластику для смешивания пудры! так вот, чтобы пудра превратилась в краску и глина хорошо слиплась в итоге, я использую этот extender))) Незнаю, понятно ли объяснила!)) Мне этот способ очень нравится!

  • @creativesea.design
    @creativesea.design 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the effect! A very nice tutorial, but I believe it is missing a bit in the beginning. The clay pieces were prebaked or dry clay or just normal clay? Also, polymer clay needs to be baked at least 30 mins (many people suggest 1 hour) in order to fully harden. And finally - isn't 150 too much for Fimo (that's the brand I use)?

    • @Melissa-wx4lu
      @Melissa-wx4lu 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure about the temps. Although I've heard that baking hotter/ longer makes translucent clay more translucent.
      The clay is unbaked and roughly chopped by hand into those chunks. OR ran through a processor like she shows at the very start. ( I believe the clay is fresh and not conditioned. Just chopped up right out of the wrapper so it's hard and keeps those hard edges.)

    • @Yamick868
      @Yamick868 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andreea Sebe not hotter!!!! Youll burn the heck out of the clay. I bake everything at 270 F for 2hours

    • @creativesea.design
      @creativesea.design 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you misunderstood - I asked if 150 isn't too hot. For Fimo, the recommended temperature is 110 and I know it's ok to go up to 130 (I'm only talking cesius), but the video suggests 150 for 20 mins. Did you watch the video?

    • @Melissa-wx4lu
      @Melissa-wx4lu 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      150 C. Should be alright with this thickness of clay. 150 Is the normal temp for Kato. But she's not using Kato for this video, however, as I stated before, higher temps makes translucent clay more translucent.
      Also. If you read her description it states that she puts the items in a cold oven and turns it to 150. When the oven hits 150, she drops it down to 140.

  • @marystoddard9138
    @marystoddard9138 7 ปีที่แล้ว
