I was required to watch this as part of an education course at my uni, and it's just brilliant. Mrs. Schmidt is so energetic and adorable, and keeps that energy up throughout the entire lesson. Would have loved to have a teacher like her in middle school
I am a pre-service teacher and looking at the Eighth Grade Literature Study Lesson video and your approach to engaging the students is excellent both inclusive and positive teaching lesson. I can only hope to be a teacher of your ability. I hope you have other videos that I can observe and learn from, thank you so much Jessica Lenore Williams. Ed Scott in Australia.

I love this and I am not even an Education major student. I love how the teacher is very interactive and make the students enthusiastic about the session and participation. Reminds me of none of my previous teachers lol.
Wow, just wow. Your and your students exploration and discussion of the topic was incredibly memorable and thoroughly engaging. Excellent work by you and your students. Your energy and passion for literature and teaching is evident and highly commendable. Congratulations. I'm so proud of you.
Great! 2023, and I have learned a lot from this! I’m in college looking for my bachelor’s degree which is needed for a english teacher gig. Very great and informal of what I’m signing up for, and a great preview on the connection i’ll have with the kids!
Ive been shopping for vids and your is what i like,. Ideal class has to be 20% teacher talk and let them explore the activity, then facilitate different needs. Good job Teacher.
In her defense, I usually start the class with a low-stress activity that stimulates conversation. This builds excitement and confidence when I go into deeper, more difficult information.
I LOVE the way you structured this lesson to teach the main point. The beginning activity helped everyone get into the right mindset and made your point clear!
Thank you for sharing your experience with me . This video i want to share it with my colleague in china.last summer i went to UK, but there's no time for me to make a wonderful travel into a school.
I was born in the 70s I wish my 8th grade class was this simple all I remember was pages of work and we didn’t even own markers by the time we reached 8th grade that was 5th grade work

Very good a projection of your voice! I thought the lesson was a little simple for 8th graders seems more like a 5th grade level activity.

This really helped me for my oral observations. Thanks I like the way she gives her learners hope and cheers them up when they feel nervous.
aww this teacher just makes me smile of how sweet and engaging she is with her students. Wonderful job to you!

great lesson. The videographer needs to move the camera slower when scanning or moving about the room. This will reduce the dizzying effect.
I'm from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and I am teacher, now i see you video and it's very useful, please keep going on

I loved the video, but I got dizzy because of the constant movement
you're an amazing teacher!
Excellent. Hope I can do that well with students. If there was a negative, it may be that things seemed a bit too fast-paced.
