I know the bed flare generation of the F-150 was controversial in its design. Some loved it, some hated it. For me, it’s the best looking Gen of F-150.
3:07 we wanted that but sadly Ford turned the lightning into a generic truck with an electric motor. Not that I got a problem with an EV F150, I just got a problem that they used the lightning name for that instead of saving it for a 2 door F150 with a detuned GT500 v8.
i mean it would have been cool if they had made it what it is. but lowered with a body kit and a cool interior. but its just a basic awd truck with an electric motor and some blue accents, cause EV.
My buddy has a Lightening, as wheel as a 2V Mustang GT. With an exhaust, intake and a tune, they are pretty quick. In person, on the road, they are really impressive for a 20 year old truck.
I don’t know why, but this truck reminds me a little bit of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class when they added it to FH4 (but of course the F-150 is 10x better than the X-Class)

When the new generation 2004 F150 was made, a SVT Lightning Concept truck was made, but was deemed unreasonable to make (brakes, tires, and more had to be way larger to compensate for the larger and heavier truck). As a on-road street truck was out of question as a production vehicle, the next logical move was to create an off road successor where the weight was not really as big a deal. That’s why they weren’t sold together, and especially that the Raptor is quite popular and a street truck nowadays that lacks towing ability and cargo capacity for the sake of being said street truck would sell like the Chevy SS and the Dodge Viper, cars that were good and appreciated by enthusiasts, but no one bought
also, you should've left the stock engine in it; It sounded the best, and also also, if anything, Paul Walker would've put an RB26DETT in that F150, not a 2Jz. He might've drove a supra, but he was 1000% GTR all the way. Even says so in Fast7 when Dom gives his son the Charger and Walker responds, "You mean skyline?"
I used the 22B to win the trial Red vs Blue, won the first two races with it, the AI couldn’t keep up with it. I also have to thank the other drivers As well for doing a great job so we won the trial.
The lightning was more of a competitor for the 1990-1993 Chevrolet 454 SS truck. I’m honestly amazed that truck hasn’t been in forza they’re really cool.

Don't know what it is, but I LOVE the styling on this generation F-150. Design has aged very well imo
in the 80s-2000s dodge chev and ford had vehicles called muscle trucks and the ford lightning is fords muscle truck
