I was really hoping it would get the funco V8 in it to counter its size and weight... but I am saddened that it didnt even get the Trophy truck racing V8. I was looking forward to this car all month, lol.. my 2nd favorite vehicle this month (behind the lightning)
I wish Dodge brought back the magnum, base it off of the charger, give it all the charger and challenger trims, and for the hellcat trim make AWD an option, that will give the E63 amg and RS6 a run
I mean, the Charger, Challenger, 300 and Magnum are all based off the Chrysler LX platform. The LX is based heavily on the mid 90s E55 AMG. Even the current Charger / Challenger are still on the LX

the RS6 is also my allt time favourite car because you can carry a family of four and a pet while gapping a 5 series on the highway its just the peak of amazing bc its a breck and a sports to supercar
You should really take a dive into the world of “Chargums” people swap the front end of chargers onto the magnum and a few even swap full charger interiors and hellcat engines. One guy on TH-cam cut the roof off of a magnum and put it on a newer hellcat charger widebody. And I almost bought a magnum with a push bar, light holes in the roof, and white top and doors, I planned to make it a full of “K-9 transport” car with decals, lights, and everything.
Being waiting for you to try this car out, being seeing it in other video and every video I was hoping you would but did till now! And a lot of people put the 300c front on them and look so much better!
I backed my WRX into a Magnum once (it was 3am and dark)... I had a $40 scratch on my rear bumper, and the Magnum had $7k worth of body and frame damage because the front is all plastic...
I mean the older gen(6th gen) chargers used a 90s Mercedes Sedan Chassis as well. It’s no big surprise given it is a solid platform in terms of the cars torsional rigidity. I’m not a Mercedes boy so I couldn’t tell you which chassis but I can tell you the 6th gen chargers though neat weren’t particularly fast and were a pain to change spark plugs(2 plugs per cylinder). They claimed more efficient combustion, it’s 99.9 percent a gimmick.
Another fun fact that you didn't mention, all Dodge Magnum's that have V6 engines, aren't even dodge made V6's they're straight up Mercedes-Benz V6 engines.

The Dodge Magnum was developed during the DaimlerChrysler era so it make sense there was Mercedes parts sharing, since both brands merged in 1998.
and 20 years later they have a Hellcat/Redeye/Demon drivetrain in that chassis for the Charger/Challenger aka C class.

It's almost the equivalent to Hennessy's hellcat HPE1000 except it's missing 5 hp from the 1,012 from the HPE1000'S tune
