Your builds prove just how impressive this game really is. The gameplay loop here is great as well. Just got the game today and it just pulls you in. I'm no where near your level of skill but I love this game for what is possible even if I can't do everything within it. This is Minecraft supersized.
Seriously, I love all the cool and cute little decorative items and block types in this game. You can't make anything that looks even half this good in Minecraft without a few dozen mods on top of the base game, and even then it wouldn't really have much functionality as opposed to this which is fully usable in multiple ways both by the players and your villagers!

Ben, I was playing the Japanese version and I noticed something that is different from the first game. I'm at the first island and I noticed that, unlike the first game, the NPC villagers don't seem to cook? Do NPCs not use kitchens and such in this game? Or is it only the villagers on the first island? Congrats on 5K btw!
Don't know if you'll answer this, but in the first game it had a set of challenges you can do to unlock new stuff in Terra Incognita like completing the chapter in a certain number of days or build your base to max level. Will there be challenges like those in this game as well?

May i ask? I know the PS4 version of DQB2 is running on 60 fps, but from your video, it looked like the game was running on 30 fps or under 60 fps due to too many blocks and objects around. Does the PS4 version also suffering in fps when there are too many blocks? Have you tried the Switch version ?

You can collect them with the builders hammer (which you'll get after beating the story) :)
