This would suit you nicely Joe! I love these as a sedan OR a wagon, which is rare. They're kinda timeless. I don't think they're AS problematic as the newer BMWs, but BMWs are not usually my jam, so I'm not super well-versed.
Probably what it’s worth. Great cars when right, but the sunroof cassettes, window regulators, and cooling system plastic can drive you mad if the they all fail at the wrong time hahha.
Actually, this model is very good, as reliable as BMW can get. Engines are brilliant, they can last 500k kms and above easily. And unlike some Lexus, it is a legend and design, handling-wise is impressive even today.
