I think people need to be a little kinder, Andy is trying his best, running a business and really cares about the thoughts of others. I can feel the care he has for his craft along with the love he has for his partner and her family.

We in Europe are used to letting our children go and live their lives where they feel good. I lived 47 years away from my parents, even if I came back to see them. My daughter has been living in Switzerland for 25 years and I don't see her often. But to know that she is fine with her husband and her children makes me happy already. @@claire2470 Now at 64 years old I came back to help them because of my father was getting bad after their vaccine. He passed in March at 97 years old in my hand, I was with him for last breath. And I will be with my mom until one of my sister can take my place or not. They are also out.

Imagine sitting across from your father-in-law who intially objected to you marrying his daughter. Half korean, half white American - living in Germany since 15 years.

Wow. Great couple. I am an American married to a Lao. The wedding made me smile. Both families respected both cultures. My wedding I wore traditional Lao outfit. My parents did not respect my wife’s family culture. They refused to sit down and talk about the culture and how different it was. They never tried to learn about it. Nothing. My wedding was 400 people. My family went home early. The wedding ended at 11pm. After we had kids it was the same story. My parents told me my wife’s parents are rude and don’t talk. Told my parents it was them who did not try to get to know them. This whole time my wife’s dad would treat my parents to dinner and other activities. It got to the point I sat my parents down and told them they had to treat them and start to talk to them. Nope. Things got so bad I had to tell my parents they were not allowed in my house without me around. My parents had enough and moved out of state. My wife’s parents are amazing and have helped us watch our kids and many other things. When my parents try to chime in and complain about things. I tell them to shut up and they never tried to be a part of my kids and my wife’s family.

You can definitely tell Andy is focused on his business and having a baby is not in his priority - a difficult thing to navigate especially in korean culture. You're seen worthless if you don't want to have a baby.
