You guys are adorable! Angie, it's ok about how much liquid goes in. There is no medication in that part :) I actually mixed all my meds (Follistim into the Menopur mixture and when I had to add Ganirelix, I mixed that too into the Follistim and Menopur mixture) so I only had to do ONE injection every night :) - Lots of baby dust to you!
Ann LaPorte That was smart! I was so worried about doing it all exactly like they said - a whole IVF cycle ruined if we didn't do the meds right?! Eeek! I panicked even more because I tuned out when they talked meds.... obviously, I'm not a champ when it comes to needles. That was up to Blake. So I had even more anxiety when he wasn't sure how much to mix of what, and did all the things they said "make sure you don't....." The first night was the hardest with the meds, I think. 😂😂😂
You did GREAT!!! I have an amazing husband too who did all my shots. This is a hard journey and there is no right or wrong way. You gotta do you. We also got a grant (we live in WI) from a foundation in Chicago for an IVF cycle (no meds included) and we are due with our little miracle from that grant on July 5th! Praying for your little miracle
Maybe try doing them yourself. I did this and felt alot more in control and able to control the speed the liquid went in etc well done though! The first night is never easy x
Oh Angie wait until labor girl. Needles are NOTHING. I really believe your emotions are high as this is an emotional ride right now. Praying y'all get your precious little one. Blake praying for you too. It's hard doing what you have to do too even if you aren't the one getting stuck. All the best to you BOTH.😁
Don't scare her. I HATE needles and I would have been crying just as much as she did. But I've had 6 babies naturally... no drugs, because I HATE needles that much. I did it and so can she. Would much rather give birth than get poked with a needle.
PCOSwhatA mess Oh my goodness!!! I outed for the suppositories because I knew I wouldn't do well with those injections every night! You are a champ and a warrior!!!! ❤

You guys got this, Blake is so sweet. My nurse had us press down on the injection spot, to prevent bruising, that also helps for the pain.
Blake did so well! My husband said “nope you prepare it all and I just inject.” Lol this is tough to go through for sure but you guys did it!🤗 Hugs!
