Please think about using your platform to promote Democracy. When I was growing up I had the honor and luck to be able to meet a few WW2 Veterans. I had the friendship of some of Americas finest. They didn't tell the horror of multi years of combat. they did tell me some interesting stories, things like liberating Concentration camps, trying to hand feed the the survives and having them die in their hands of starvation while they were trying to feed them. I also talked to different Veterans with many diffeing experiencs. To a onethey never memtioned their sacrifices other than it had to be done. The current Republican Party seem willing to letting their sacrifices be in vain. The party of Trump has infected a large portion of our country. Do you think if we or actually you brought up turning our backs on the greatest generation. You being a man of words and stature might be able get through to the ones who havn't gone over the ledge. I keep thimking of my WW2 friends and turning our backs on them. I was a combat Veteran in Viet Nam and my expierences paled to the gift they gave us.

While not the worst that I have ever heard, the audio is bad in this video. Please, do a better job of making sure that the microphones are applied properly and are sensitive enough to actually pick up what people are saying; such as by doing audio tests before filming begins. Even if you can't do the audio tests with those being interviewed and those doing the interview(s), have stand-ins ready beforehand and make sure that the audio tests are done with enough time to deal with any problems if they arise and so that they do not continue to be (a) problem(s) after filming begins!
File that one under " *Duh!* "; put that one in the `" *Duh!* " File`!

did this take place before the financial crash of 08?

Odds are that it did, since the crash happened late in that year - in October.

I was impressed with this one. Wish he didn't always feel the need for what is obviously prepared humor. I agree with the previous comment regarding H W Brand's LENGTHY introduction.

It's funny how you're not talkin about Andrew Jacksons Democrat party
    Indian Removal Act!

It is clear you didn't watch the entire video. It is briefly mentioned at the beginning and then mentioned again as one of the worst acts of Jackson's Presidency at 46:40. It is also discussed in Meacham's book which I don't have to ask if you have read. You strike me as someone like Trump who thinks that no one knows that Lincoln was a Republican. Everyone knows that Jackson was a Democrat and that he ordered the removal of the Native Americans from the eastern United States. This is why Jackson is not embraced by modern Democrats but is by modern Republicans, like Trump.

this book sucked. It was barely about Jackson. It was all about drama in his life.

What is there to write about a person besides the drama in his life?

I picked up this book after reading a biography of Ivan the Terrible of Russia and wanted to read about troubled, troublesome leaders in American history, more comparable to the Tsars of Russia.
I think there's an untold story, not one of the dull drumbeat of People's History of the United States-style revisionism, "they were all evil immoral slaveholders", which of course has some truth to it, but one that highlights the inescapably tragic and sinful nature of humanity, something that is not supposed to play a large role in a nation whose foundation is the Enlightenment-era idea of the perfectibility of humans and their institutions.
Lastly, Jackson was the first Scots-Irish president, and if you know Scots-Irish Americans, you know they like fighting and drama, and Jackson was no exception.
