I remember one of Richard Rohr's books the first I had read on Enneagram, he related an anecdote of when he said "shit" on a radio program and how he as a type 4 immediately worried what his mother would think if she heard it, whereas type 8s would said shit because it will offend people Being the type of person that responds to objections to profanity with "it's just F******** words get over it", that part resonated with me. Obviously there was more to it but I think being outraged that people are preoccupied with rude words more then how their words in general impact others is a typical trait of the type
