He’s been famous for a long time, maybe not the most famous person ever but he’s been working since at least his teens so a lot longer than a minute” 😆. Also his sister Justine Bateman has been in the entertainment industry for just as long and was on Family Ties in the 1980s.
I worked on Ozark and dude literally down to Earth to everyone. Went to the wrap party and he took pics with everyone.

Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by an upsetting event happening in their lives that takes them by surprise, unexpectedly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. Why are so many people across the world suddenly having their appendix removed? The appendix is associated with “being in fear for one’s life”. The HEALING phase is the rupture/inflammation.
While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes.
Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way.
It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

Ozark is definitely his crowning achievement. There are many great characters on the show but Marty Byrde is just the best and most fascinating since the first episode. That is because of Jason's acting and I dare say he is the best actor in the series! I hope he is awarded with an actor's Emmy for the final season now 🙏

He's very underrated, there are some epic episodes of Ozark directed by him.

One of the few child actors who managed to stay sane, who didn’t turn to drugs or alcohol, who built a formidable career, can do drama and comedy with equal expertise, is happily married and just seems like an incredibly well rounded, funny person. That takes some doing - and being comfortable in your own skin. Ozark is an AWESOME Series. I think they are VERY smart to make this the final season. “Keep ‘em wanting more”. That Smartless Tour would be well worth the money.
He did have an alcohol problem but he's been in rehab. He's publicly discussed this.

I love how Ozark plays to his “likeable” character while being a nerd who’s clueless to the harm and wreck he’s bringing to everyone around him.
So over due, well deserved recognition for a genius acting in the best TV show I’ve ever seen!
Marty is certainly not clueless to the damage he’s causing…it’s just been so long of horrible situations happening he knows situations will work out in one way or another. He’s the smartest human on the show.
And I love how he is not the typical portray of smart handsome people we normally get in tv shows. I am truly in love with the show & his character; too many great stuff accumulated in one place!
He does not hesitate to get real in.the first Season when things aren't going smooth. He definitely isn't clueless.
And yet he still manage to look concerned & caring about others.
I honestly can’t think of any other actor who would play this role & still be convincing and real like Bateman and I honestly didn’t like him much before but this role is genius!!
Ozark is amazing, his acting and delivery is so on point and nuanced. Watching Ozark I always think to myself: " this is so good, I don't deserve this!"

Jason, king of underplaying it. I love it. He does seem genuinely humble though. Ozark is phenomenal. Almost comparable to Breaking Bad. I feel like the final season will deliver.

@@theoffender3113 oh man. It took me YEARS to start breaking bad. Tons of people kept telling me how good it was. And man once I started it I was HOOKED. You cannot go on in life without watching such a masterpiece. And then once you're finished you can watch Better Call Saul. It took me a bit to get into that one but that was another awesome series. It's like a prequel to Breaking Bad.

Fun info on that movie. The role of the thief was originally written for a man, but when Jason saw Bridesmaids and was blown away at Melissa’s character, he said they had to change the script to a woman and ask her to be in it. Hilarious 😄

I know it's all part of the act, but Will Arnett will not cut Sean Hayes a break. Everything Sean brings up, Arnett feels obliged to cut him down. Sean Hayes takes it in stride, but it's kind of annoying.

Ozark was the only reason why I got Netflix in the first place. After the first season I was hooked. Crazy how long second season took to come out. 2 or 2 and a half years later, but I'm glad it wasn't canceled.
