Look at the parts where they just walk out of the chambers after devirtualization. In the original cartoon, it was implied that devirtualization was a traumatic experience like the feeling of dieing (Yumi curled up on the floor, Odd gasping while grasping the scanner door, Ulric slumped against the wall).
Also, after devirtualization, they can actually feel pain from it. But in the evolution they dont. And now, the evolution doesn't cut or like doesn't not show when they actually got stabbed or sliced. Idk why but it was never too violent, they're just dispersing, no blood.
What i loved about the old show was how real it all felt, when they got devirtualized in lyoko it was painful and you could tell when one hurt more then others, like when odd got crushed he couldnt even stand. Little things like that made lyoko OG so special !
True, only problems in my opinion is the quantity of enemies and the sound effects. Also sound effects...ehh..I liked the explosion more when monsters die, other stuff as well.
@@burney7998 eh, I felt the fights in OG lyoko to be very bad. Some episodes it takes them a while to kill the badies and some it takes seconds. Their weak points and abilities are obvious so killing them should not be this much of a hassle.

Yes. In the old cartoon one the first two seasons as long as they landed on their feet/knees they wouldn't take damage, but after that, they did take a bit from fall damage. But in the mountain sector (and computer section every now and then) they won't take fall damage. in Evolution, it was better at being a bit more accurate with damage like speed and power damage
