Synopsis: The battle for the soul of the Valley may be over, but the war is just beginning.
Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Sensei Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his "No Mercy" style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he's caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.

The pure fear in Kenny’s eyes when he sees Miguel stare down Robby just gets me, can’t wait for this season
Yet it looks like Miguel comes up from behind to fight Robby during that scene which I find weird

Cobras Kai has been one of the greatest things to happen in the last 5-6yrs. As a fan of the KK films born in the early 80s and raised in the 90s, a former karate/martial artist as a kid I've waited my whole life to see something like this. Watching these makes me feel like Dale & Brendon in Step Brothers lol "Even better, we have them as adults!"
Don't forget to watch the original film again too....Such a masterpiece.

Sincerely hoping that it was a returning Snake or Dennis. Maybe even a surprise guest appearance by Neil Patrick Harris. Probably not but it sure would have been much great fun if it were so.

Hyped for Season 5!! Johnny and Chozen teaming up!! Johnny's got a new phone! Were getting a Daniel vs Silver fight. We'll find out if Devon is really going to torture Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang this season and stay in Cobra Kai for the rest of the series unless she leaves and rejoins Eagle Fang at the end. I knew Miguel and Sam will reunite after he returns from Mexico; Miguel and Robby teaming up?; Hawk got a new tattoo in the front and he has a green and blue mohawk!! I hope Hawk defeats Kenny now that he's more vicious and corrupted like Kyler! I guess we're waiting for the season's release to see more Mike Barnes! We get to see Kreese fighting in prison.

I think that she wants to do better at the next tournament and she probably didn’t have a choice since Johnny and Daniel lost; it looks like she joined Topanga Karate first but I guess Cobra Kai recruited that dojo to join them. I hope really her time at Cobra Kai Dojo will be temporary until she decided to quit. I really prefer her to stay in Eagle Fang!! I also liked her chemistry with Johnny!!

Interesting with how Mike Barnes' long awaited return wasn't nearly as hyped up as Terry Silver's, to the point where they didn't even show him in either the initial teaser, or trailer, while it was only confirmed he was coming back through a single still frame photo. But you soon found out why, considering he was only in just two episodes, and hardly had any screen time with that being said though.
He probably Will have more in season 6
@@Cobra_Editzzz I hope so, and he'll surely get just a small bit more screen time in the sixth, and final season, kind of like when Chozen did in Season 5 too.
@@Cobra_Editzzz And it's crazy to think that it was also now exactly a year ago when Season 5 of Cobra Kai was released too! We didn't really have the usual amount of time to endlessly speculate what was going to happen next, due to it coming out a bit earlier than previous ones before it, while also getting here right after summer was about to end, when we were busy with other activities that time of year. But we will for better or worse have more than enough to go over, and dissect for the sixth, and final season though! That of which they can hopefully get back to work on, once this stupid writer's strike finally comes to a much needed, long awaited end at last too!

It's been established that Miguel's dad is a full blooded Mexican that was born and raised his whole life in Mexico. Miguel was also born there and then Carmen relocated to the States to get away from his dad.
Mike Barnes is a white guy that grew up in the US with no Mexican lineage whatsoever. So it makes no sense why people would think Mike is Miguel's dad. LMAO

I am only four episodes into this season and I already think it’s the best season since the first one. I was beginning to think the storyline was getting a bit ridiculous with all the teen fighting every day. I’m liking this season five!

Enemies who hate each other having to join forces to take out an even more dangerous mutual enemy is a staple of fiction and can happen in real life too. I think they will form an alliance with Kreese as they cannot afford to be picky, Silver and his "army" are just too powerful but they won't fully trust or like him so there will be dramatic tension among the "reluctant allies".

Please don't compare Cobra Kai to the MCU. Cobra Kai is written much better than the MCU. MCU just has a limitless budget, charismatic actors, and the best special effects ever, but in terms of the story and characters, it's not close to Cobra Kai.

Oh no worries, he'll be there. His appearance warrants more of the "surprise" effect...kind of how Ali Mills wasnt in the Season 3 trailers at all. Mike may not have a big roll, but he'll be there for sure :)

Also someone more serious than Johnny has to come in between Miguel and Robby and tell them that they need to start working together if they're gonna help to stop Cobra Kai once and for all. Also seeing what Kenny is doing, I think Anthony is gonna say "I don't wanna fight you, but you're not giving me much choice"
Kenny should focus less on Anthony and more on Eli or Hawk this season.
