    I’ve had this phone since it came out. I already have the iPhone XS Max and I’ve always wanted an android and this phone became it. All I can say is I love it and prefer it over my iPhone XS Max when doing things on my phone. The only thing I don’t like about android is iMessage. Other then that I love it and recommend it 100%

      yeahhh man. dont get me wrong, i fucking love androids!! they are so good and fascinating. but, upgrading to an android would have inconvenienced me in a way, due to the fact that i live in an apple ecosystem and making the transition meant it wouldve been a lot of effort. no facetime (which i use a lot), no imessage. but that just how i felt. definitely upgrading to an android in a few years.

    Just wanted to say that the file transfer speed didn't improve because of the storage but because of the USB-Protocol.
    The 6T uses USB 2.0, the 7 Pro 3.1
    THIS is what makes this difference. Maybe the storage contributes a bit but I don't think as significant as you said
    This isn't really a giant mistake but still wanted to say it - Maybe for the full review or something

    You've got the same video lights that I have in my studio :) They're quite useful and run off batteries which is awesome :D I think I'll be buying this phone. I'm honestly torn between this and Pixel 3 XL and before you say anything... it's not for the reasons you think. I want a phone that's easy to root and modify, and from what I hear that's simple with OnePlus devices since they natively support TWRP - so you can use the app instead of always having to reboot. Also, unlocking the bootloader should be simple on both devices, which I have already confirmed to be the case on Pixel 3 XL. I hate the Pixel's huge notch and the fact that it's lagging behind in the hardware department but being a photographer... THAT CAMERA IS THE NUT. Your thoughts?

    The reason why the OnePlus 7 file transfer is much faster is because it supports USB 3.1 while all past OnePlus phones came with USB 2.0, it's less due to the flash storage.

  • @pteodorescu
    @pteodorescu 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Oneplus is misleadingly reporting 3x optical zoom while clearly having a blend between optical zoom on the tele and normal lens photos in order to obtain the final picture. If you analyze the pictures taken in a sequence on 1) portrait mode and 2) normal photo using tele, you will see a difference in lens distance which means different zooms were used to take those 2 pictures. More than that, both pictures are reported as being taken at 6.95mm, but one has 12MP (portrait) and the other 8MP (tele).

  • @RuiYangFann
    @RuiYangFann 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The dramatic difference is not due to UFS 3.0. Rather, it is because OnePlus 6Thas an I/O of USB-C 2.0 (so, you can imagine that is is cap at USB 2.0 speed) and OnePlus 7 Pro has USB-C 3.1. You can perhaps fix it in the video =)

      Go for the OnePlus, you will not regret it. Currently using an S9 and the software is not as good as the big TH-camrs claim. Also the battery life on my device which has 3000mah is mediocre.
      The only thing that I like of Samsung phones is that they pack all the features that you can imagine, but I prefer software optimization/experience and battery life over a micro SD slot or a headphone jack.

    I love Android but I always seem to go back to iOS after a few days. I bought a Mi A2 last year and, for the money, it’s a great device.
