Nice job......sweet looking frame too. Now, I have a question, what would happen in the long run to my carbon frame for not putting all that grease I see you guys putting on the non-moving parts? I put light grease on the headset but not the seatpost and all those non-moving parts......?
Good question. It's not a grease. It's a paste. And we used two kinds for deferent application. 1. Seatpost. There is a common problem of seatpost slipping under the rider's weight and also making creaky noises when riding. To solve that we use Dynamic Carbon assembly paste. It lowers the required clamping force which prevents over-tightening and damage to the components. On aluminum and carbon it works fine, any grip paste will do the job but don't buy a tube because you'll only need a small amount of it. Also useful for carbon stems and handlebars for the same reasons. 2. Headset bearings, bb cups, wheel axels. We used Dynamic Assembly Paste Pro - it protects surfaces and prevents corrosion. It fills the gaps and holes and prevents water and dirt to get inside. Now, in long term, if you didn't apply assembly paste you will likely face corrosion and wearing of components much quicker and as a result replacing them sooner. The tricky thing here is that you don't see any signs of corrosion until you disassemble your headset or bb which in most cases happens once per year. Ride safe and have fun.
There's nothing custom made/painted/modified in this build. Everything from the stores and frameset is on the Wilier catalog and can be ordered from your local dealer.
Some decisions were made based on price and availability since it's a build for a real client. Cadex are the best wheels you can get here in Ukraine. With warranty, service and spare parts from a local dealer 🤝
Sure, any tire fits just fine without sealant. It's even easier to add it later through the valve using a syringe. You need sealant for: 1) to seal small leakage of air and; 2) to seal punctures.
@@mikefoster3901 Well, Wilier frames have been made in Taiwan for a long time now. Sram makes most of their parts there, too and since Cadex is a sub brand of Giant, also located in that country, this is an all-Taiwan bike. The only thing Italian about it is the location of Wilier's headquarters.
Love the frame shape, the colour not so much, hate the one-piece bar-stem and the prorietary seat post. Apppreciate not slamming the stem. "Pale tan wall" tires ruin every bike's look and the oversized yellow derailleur pulleys are nothing but childish. And Cadex is a sub brand of Giant, same as Bontrager is to Trek and Syncros to Scott, so why put them on a Wilier when there are so many other cool choices?
Nothing ASMR about this, especially the squeeky pump. Other than that only simple, regular workshop noises. For ASMR the noises need to be lower-frequency and more repetitive.
A beautiful bike that will hopefully still look as good in ten years as my ten year old Specialized Venge looks today.
Cracking rig and that rear hub sound wowsers
My next winter bike!
Magnifique 👏👏👍👍🇫🇷🚴🏻♂️
Wow😍

Majestic 👑👑
Can you get the Garda frameset? I can't find it anywhere.
Did you try to find a local dealer or write to Wilier?
What are those spokes???
Carbon, check the specs on Cadex 50 ultra
@dusty_hoods those things look wicked!
can you share the overall price of this exact build and custom paint job ?

What size is the bar? 101x420??
Yes, it's 101*420 with a frame size M. And you can change it when making an order.
🔥🔥🔥
Awesome
Why Cadex wheels?

Wow 😮
Orgasmica!!!❤
ウィリエル(フレーム)

Sram: groupset, Cadex (a Giant subsidiary): wheelset.
Tasty 👍

Tubeless without milk 😮 ?

Fucking SRAM!!!
😁
Only campy on a bike like this with Bora WTO's for a truly Italian build 2:38

Cadex wheels are sexy.
And dangerous
Hook less not for the faint hearted 😢
Hookless, are awesome if used correctly.
In general I don't recommend hookless until you really know what you're doing.

If Wilier wouldn’t be flexy as fuck it would be a very nice build
The oil slick cassette, the yellow derailleur cage, the white tyre walls, it's so incredibly working class trying to look rich, it's painful to watch.
Yeap, the shopping filter obviously was set by price, not by color 😁
i own one, can‘t disagree more
Bro needs a new pump. less noice.
Ha ha ) yeap, but that pump has a story ...аnd it begs for some maintenance 😂
😻 'promo sm'
Nice bike but the ASMR sh!t is very annoying.
It's very individual. Turn on your favorite music instead 🎸
