In this video we look at a Smith and Wesson Performance Center Model 19 Carry Comp 357 Revolver. This gun is 6 shots, has adjustable rear sights, a Trijicon tritium front night sight, a power port for taming recoil, custom wood grips, a 3” stainless barrel, a performance center tuned trigger and a carbon steel frame. This model 19 is a medium sized K Frame Revolver.

I found one used at my LGS for $700 and it is super clean and the DA trigger is 2 lbs. SA trigger pull is 2.5 lbs. The wood was perfect but I put on some rubber grips. It’s beautiful and one of my favorites now.
You did very well to get one for that price. It’s hard to beat a S&W Performance Center trigger job. And it only gets better as you shoot it more. Cheers.

That hole on the top is great for reducing muzzle whip but if you have to fire at night the first shot shot at night. Your night vision is gone.
Carrying 38 Special +P is not a bad idea. I do have another video of this gun showcasing muzzle flash on the edge of darkness using 357 and 38 special loads.
That's a regurgitated myth. I have compensated handguns that I've fired in low light without issue as have people I know.

Some of these revolvers are so nice but I can’t pay that much for a revolver when I can buy a good semi auto for the same or less.
This one demands a high price tag. S&W does make other six shot revolvers for around $800. It’s hard to beat a revolver. It goes bang even if the muzzle is pushed into something. And also you just keep pulling the trigger to the next round if the first doesn’t go bang. They are easy to clean and beautiful to look at. They don’t require magazines which can be the cause of malfunctions in a semi automatic handgun. It’s nice to have both types of guns in the collection over time. Keep saving your money and buy good guns. They will hold their value if you take good care of them. Cheers.

The dime a dozen polymer wonders aren't in the same league. They also depreciate in value. Some people are okay with the bare minimum and others don't mind paying for quality.
Boot grips, not combat.
I don’t like that they drilled all the way thru the top strap , it creates a vortex and burns the finish off the cylinder ! That and the key 🔐 lock sux grips are terrible, plastic plywood or whatever it is and the finish sux ! Other than that I guess it’s cool 😂

Sounds like a troll making issues out things that are non-issue. Nothing is wrong with the lock. Laminate and plywood aren't the same, and laminate stocks are stronger and more durable than wood. There's no "vortex" or finishes being worn off. Some people can afford nicer things, so the price tag is only a disqualifier for those who are low earning.
