    Stunning cinematography - something you can look back on in 10, 20, 30 or 40 Years time and be proud of what you achieved and created

    My wife and I spent our summer holidays in this region 24 times until she passed away in 2015 at 76. We also did several hikes in this region, but unfortunately, not along this route. I know this film or TH-cam is a classic from every point of view. So I keep watching it again and again. Thank you so much.

    The 8 day hiking video and drone filming along with the music was fantastic. We are starting the Via Alpina soon. I can only hope to see what you filmed and lucky enough for clear days. Thank you for the GREAT Film.

    I'm glad that you appreciated my comment. We'd surely have trekked along this route if we had known how beautiful it was. I'm so sad to inform you that I'm already 78 years old now, and I don't have the strength to do it alone anymore. Once again, let me affirm you that you've done great work. I still watch it quite often. Thanks once again.

    Very well made, thanks for sharing! May I ask the name/location of the small pond/lake in the final shot of the video? (Not oescheninsee)

    was the trail crowded at all? i've heard there are cable cars shuttling tourists up to the peaks in most places in switzerland. Wondering if that detracted fro the feeling of it being in wilderness?

    • @adventuresofavish
      @adventuresofavish  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s true with the cable cars but the tourists will stick to a radius of around 5km around the station which is just a tiny part of the trail. I did not find the trail crowded at all, in the mountains most of the time we were just the 2 of us.

    How was the wild camping situation in switzerland? Would love to do this trail but heard wild camping is difficult?

    • @adventuresofavish
      @adventuresofavish  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not straightforward but can be done. Usually in the towns you need you use the official campground. When you are in the wild, specially on the higher plains, you can wild camp.

    hey Avish, great film, loved it.
    hiking the via alpina later this month, what was your daily mileage on this stretch?

    • @adventuresofavish
      @adventuresofavish  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. The daily mileage was between 15 to 30k, depending on the days and how i felt.

      @@adventuresofavish alright, would you also be able to share the wild camp locations?

    • @adventuresofavish
      @adventuresofavish  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@teepusultan99 i don’t really have the exact locations but i would suggest to camp away from the villages, above treeline is usually fine.

    What map or app did you use to navigate in eight days?

  • @thangzadal5850

    Hi Avish, by the way, if you're in case a novel reader, I've authored a 412-page historical romance novel called: Why Are You Crying, Mama?
