Sir I was thinking there is a small mistake when the poetess said tht her blood turn into cold like moon...I think in her childhood days after her granny's death when she saw snake among books she was deeply frightened nd compared her temperature to the moons..

I have observed this in all your poems that you don’t take in account the historical background or the situations based on which Kamala das has written her poems ... the meaning of certain lines are so so so very different. You must read about the author n the political situation to be able to justify the poet’s words which are often metaphors
