    Thanks for this. I am considering getting W&N professional set of 12 as their pocket / field box and seeing these swatches is very useful.

    If I must pick favorites (not easy!), it has to be M. Graham's Turquoise (I have a weakness for all versions of turquoise), and Daniel Smith's Isoindoline Yellow. It's a gorgeous warm yellow but it washes down to the sweetest palest peach. It's remarkable. It may be my #1 favorite color. I love swatching too. It lets me enjoy my beautiful colors pressure-free.

      Oh, I feel you on the turquoise front, its such a gorgeous color! I've not seen the DS yellow you mentioned, will have to check that out, it sounds delightful! And yes, swatching is good for not feeling the pressure. Thanks for watching and commenting Lori!

    Wow I love your color choices 😍 I don't have a single favorite color but lately I've been so in love with winsor and newton manganese blue 🥰 I just love looking at it and just swatching it makes me feel happy as blue is my favorite color. I like your chatty videos so fun and engaging 🥰 I'm not new to art but still I can't call myself an artist so I would love to see you experiment and play with new colors and paint 😊
    And sorry to hear about your mother, I hope you are feeling better now 🌺

      @eviedivadoodles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why thank you! I'm a little bit like a magpie, and sometimes for a treat I pop uptown to the art shop which has alllll the W&N colors to stare at! And if a friend is late meeting me, I invariably end up there waiting (and buying something new)! 😆 Manganese blue is such a nice color isn't it? Its in several of my small palettes, but I'm still always more drawn to Prussian Blue. 😍 I'm glad the chatty videos are enjoyed - I don't really know how to not talk, and I'm not one for absolute silence when making a video, I'd rather get to know people in the comments and I'm not sure that's possible with a silent video. So plenty more chattiness to come! 😆And thank you, much better now, I painted my way out of the sadness. ❤

      I will have to find the potters pink. It's a slightly granulating one I think? A few peeps here on the Tube have used it in their videos, so I may have to track a tube down to try for myself.

      14:19 Pipette is a french diminutive word (li,e cassette, small box) meaning small tube. So the "I" is pronounced like "e" in English. People pronounce it differently as they go for the English pronunciation of "i" . You got it right, same as cobalt, with accent on the first syllable.

    I'm from Cambridge but I live in Germany (near the Dutch border) now - I say cobalt and pipette like you, I think the other ways might just be regional variations/American English :) it's so nice to make art videos, I started at the beginning of the year and it's been so fun. I didn't study art either, in fact I did my PhD in biology - but I think we're both artists. You don't have to be skilled at art to be an artist... some people go their whole lives without making any art! how crazy is that!

      I did see that there's a sale but the customs fees into Germany from the UK are so awful I really can't order from there (I use artemiranda or Peter's Art in Berlin instead). My favourites are quinacridone scarlet, autumn green, nickel azo yellow, and literally all of their blues... nickel titanate yellow is a fun one too (I have a video mixing it with other colours if you want too see what I mean)

    I love and want these professional watercolours but at $18/$28/$63 NZD a 5ml/14ml/37ml tube = $400-$1500 for your 24 colour set… I mean, I can afford that but I just can’t justify it for myself since I’m only a wannabe artist/professional buyer of supplies I already don’t use 😂 so I just live vicariously through swatching videos ❤
    My fave colour is actually the Cotman Hookers Green Light - I don’t even think the professional Hookers Green is as nice as the Cotman light
    Payne’s Grey is a close 2nd

      I LOVE 'professional buyer of supplies'! 🤣 But yea, the conversion rates are not great for NZ or AUS I think... I like hookers green mixed with various reds, to create nice dark tones. Have you tried? And Paynes Grey should be essential in any palette! 😉

      I was just checking to see if anyone mentioned that the Olive is accidentally put instead of green gold…I love both these greens and felt pretty sure you had olive green swatched twice and missed green gold. It’s gorgeous color and you will see when you swatch it!!
