Oh how I miss my 3000 Healey. A summer 'flying; across the American southwest, California and back to Texas. Never overheated once and it ran like the proverbial scared rabbit. The ladies often stopped and smiled. What a car! Wish I still had it!
In 1965 the Big Healey didn't come with separate parking lights and directionals. They were still both incorporated into one bulb and lens. This car appears to be a Phase II BJ8 from either '66 or '67. If it is indeed a true '65, then someone put on the latter body panels... As for the Webers, they do indeed look very nice, but unless you have a racing cam, higher compression, etc, you are only going to go through a lot more petrol...without really increasing the power...something known as overkill.
