Nice that you get to interact with your surroundings like the hotel apartment. Can you leave your apartment complex and explore the map on foot? Going about your apartment and checking out the cars in your garage works very similar to gta online and I'm guessing your emotes are mainly in the game for celebrating online wins. One strange detail I noticed is that when you get in the cars in the garage your body is invisible but out on the streets in cars your body is there 🤔Something I'm sure they will patch. I feel like the island could use a nice gentle theme added as you drive between races etc. I always loved the ones in Just Cause 3 and Far Cry 5. Do you feel it's missing music? Good to see you testing out the tyres and they got the smoke effects looking goood 👍 Racing seems fine. Lots of twists and turns and I like the satelite navigation that talks telling younwhere to go between races. Good that you chose the right gang to represent too. I would have chosen the same. Anyway thanks for this first tour of Hong Kong island. I was curious to see it in action and good the game is finally here!
Unfortunately, you can only explore the map by car, you can't just stop your car anywhere, get out and go on foot. This has always been this way and they didn't risk allowing free roam on foot this time either... :P The emotes can be used in areas where I can meet other online players, like the hotel lobby. You can see another player next to one of the cars, when I go down the stairs. I think when you get in the car while in the garage you don't see your own body, so that you can fully inspect the interior! ;) I do have a radio in the car, where I can select several radio stations and listen to different kinds of music. But, I accidentally turned it off when I started playing the game... :P About the races, most of them are a mix of AI racers and real racers. You enter a lobby where you wait for other players to join. If you wait long enough one or two may join, which will add some more realism to the race! :) I visited both clans, but I found the Sharps way too arrogant for my taste, while the Streets were more down to Earth, so I joined the Streets!
