- NATO countries will agree on a substantial support package for Ukraine at a summit in the USA. Helping Ukraine will be the 'most urgent task' of the meeting, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, implying the signing of new bilateral security agreements and enhanced military interoperability between Ukraine and the Alliance.

NATO is a defense cooperation organization, so according to NATO rules, a country at war cannot become a member of NATO. To become a member of NATO, the approval of 32 member countries is required. If even a single country does not approve, membership cannot be made.

They have not broken any restrictions put on them regarding not using USA missals to attack Russia until recently. But still with restrictions that are public knowledge? Ukraine should have an exception in allowing the country to join NATO during the conflict. And then give an ultimatum to Russia to cease fire completely and leave all Ukrainian territories, otherwise it's Article 5!
