      How is sound on this tv? How is the bass in the volume?

    • @mchambliss2
      @mchambliss2  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@martinchitembo1883 The sound of the QN800B is decent for TV speakers, and I do hear separation in sound when playing games and watching movies with an atmos track. However, the Sony A90J does a better overall job in clarity and bass.

    Hey Max, Just letting you know on the quick setup that the Tv doesn't need to be laid down when installing the stand.
    You can use the side polystyrene to stabilise the bottom polystyrene and remove the centre polystyrene pieces on either side for an easy one person install.
    Thanks for the unboxing though. I gad the QN800A and now have the QN800B 75inch

    A lot of people are forgetting that "Samsung displays" is the company that's providing the "QD-OLED" display/panels to: Sony, Alienware, and other companies. Sony's next QD-OLED (A95K) is provided by Samsung. Sony is just doiing it's own calibration, processor, and UI/UX.

    That clouding and pretty bad looking "black" screen you see at times like that like that first screen. It's basically the TV not using the local dimming, at all. This is not something you see using it normally. It's just a transition from input or on etc. What happens is the local dimming isn't on simply put. All LCD TVs at least today usually have pretty bad looks when local dimming is totally off.
    But it's not of any concern because it's never like that in any actual content.

    Good in depth unboxing. Thank you for going through that for the little details everyone else seems to gloss over these days. QUESTION: Have you seen the QN800A in person? It's at a real good price right now and is tempting, but I'm not sure of course how it compares to the QN800B. I can't imagine the B is $1,500 better, looking at the 65".

    • @gledatelj1979

      QN800A will disappear soon from stock so if the money is an issue , it's a no brainer to take it than this one.

    Good morning!
    We just received our TV last night and set it up. Was wondering about the protective film. I was having trouble taking it off, i was afraid to keep picking at it with the tweezers, too. So i just left it alone
    Is there for sure a protective film on the screen nowadays? I know this unboxing video was about a year ago, so IDK if maybe Samsung changed that or not?
    Could you let me know your thoughts on it this, please? Thank you

    BEWARE, I purchased a Samsung Neo QN800B a 8k TV. The "slim one connect" bow blew out in less than 2 full days of operation. After the TV went black suddenly, I could hear the relay "clicking" however not powering up the screen. These TV sets run hot and I suspect the soldering from the power supply on the motherboard is shoddy. Avoid Samsung products at all cost. I am returning my $3500.00 TV back to "Best Buy" ASAP for a full refund. This experience was completely lame don't trust Samsung!!!
