Julia I had an unexpected accident which have left my hands unable to cut food and wash dishes. You must let me inform you I’m crying because your recipes are allowing me to cook. I hadn’t thought of the liners and paper plates for cooking and prep. Thank you for your Dump and Go Recipes. They would help our fire shelters here in NM to feed hundreds of displaced people. Congratulations on your beautiful new home! I can't believe you were able to cook so many wonderful meals while in the process of moving and unpacking. I definitely love the idea of a Crock-Pot in the summer as it avoids heating up the kitchen by using the oven. I truly believe you have a thousand and one ways to make chicken! It is such a basic ingredient that you can do so many things with as you show us all the time. We look forward to a tour of your beautiful home once you are ready to share it with us when you are more settled. Thanks again for the great recipes and again congratulations on your new home! One tip that I wanted to mention regarding making corn on the cob is to make it in the microwave oven. Place it in a glass or ceramic baking dish either a 9x9 or 9x13 depending upon how many ears you need to make add about an inch worth of water and cover with plastic wrap venting one corner. Cook on high for around 5 minutes and check for tenderness. If done you are good to go if not maybe put it in for another 30 seconds at a time until it is cooked to your liking. Please be very careful as the plastic wrap will generate a lot of steam and I have been burned by that before. Just another quick way to make vegetables in the summer if you don't want to turn on the stove.
