Blessed pure songs that speak clear THE GOSPEL message 🙌. HE DIED TO make men FREE open your heart and you will see. Sweet songs that woo the heart to the blessed sweetness 💖 of private prayer.
Always appreciate seeing music from Dallas Holm posted. He had 3 releases on Zondervan/Singcord/NewSounds in 1970 and 1971 before moving to the John T Benson Company (Heartwarming / Impact / Greentree) for the next decade+. Lots of good stuff, and this was just the start!
Sweet! I never knew this album even existed! I just shared the 1978 and 1979 albums by Dallas Holm & Praise with my congregation - most of whom were not serving the Lord in the 1970's. They are in a state of shock with the depth and power and Gospel-centeredness of these albums. PRAISE THE LORD FOR DALLAS HOLM AND PRAISE.
My Favorite album as a Sr. In High School. I bought the companion book and sang many of these in the Fairview Church of the Nazarene, my home church. I know every word, every note and I feel God’s touch in his voice. I have been in Full time Gospel ministry all my life. This album is one that molded my life!
OH wow this album, and more, were distributed in Australia by the Zondervan representative company S. John Bacon Publishing Co. situated in Victoria, Australia. My now departed Dad was the Sales Manager and brought the sample album home - as we listened to these amazing songs, it was a winner straight away from us 4 teenage kids!!!! Any Aussie who has heard this album thank my Dad for his confirmation of it becoming a well loved album. God's blessing Dallas
Wow! First time hearing this. Don’t think I’ve heard much, if anything, from Dallas Holm prior to the release of "Rise Again" in 1977. Thanks for uploading!
Ahhh...I remember the Teen Challenge Meetings/Concerts in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Mayfield, Kentucky. Dallas was very involved with that ministry. The last time I saw him in concert was in Marion, Illinois about 20 years ago.
As a new believer I went to a movie called The Rapture. During the movie Dallas Holm sings "Looking Back" on a talk show. Near the end of the song he disappears and the background music keeps playing. I bought this album after the show. My first Christian recording. One evening I was playing "Beyond a Shadow of a Doubt". My mom was surprised I was listening to good music. She wasn't a believer at the time. It took seven years to get her to come to my church and she and my Dad got saved there. They went to heaven about 10 years ago.
Words are not enough to express my excitement! I haven't heard this music in over 10yrs. I came to love these songs as a child and have been looking everywhere for them. Is there any legal way I can get a copy?

I found this, my very favorite album, on EBay and bought it. I was given it originally in 1971. I have not found a digital version.
That's some good pedal steel on A4 Keep on the Right Side of Life
