I'm the ISTJ here. What could possibly be cooler than a dragon? Nothing. I bet the "best thing the tattoo artist knows how to draw"? Is a dragon! Exactly! I don't care that a dragon tattoo is the cliché. Maybe it's the cliché because it's best.
Actually, I think an ISTJ would be very specific about tattoos. We would also be picky about the professionalism of the tattoo artist. We do not tolerate ineffective work... especially if it is permanent.
As an INFP I've always wanted a tattoo but A) I'll never decide whether to get a big, obvious one or a discreet one that only I know about and B) it would take forever to think of what it would look like. Also it sucks because all the truly discreet places are the most painful 😣 So probably no tattoo for a while.
I can definitely say the INFJ one is accurate because whenever I get a tattoo, I want it to mean something to me because it will be permanent for the rest of my life. I also had a relationship with an ISFP, and unsurprisingly they wanted to be a tattoo artist
An infj here. I have been thinking of getting a tattoo for ages, and rather than thinking about what kind of design I wanted to stick with, I focused on the essence of the tattoo. I wanted my tattoo to have an inherent meaning that reflects the ups and downs, and the struggle I went through throughout the ages. I chose Medusa.
