(I'll admit at times I struggled to hear what was being sung) but this was so unbelievably incredible! The emotions! The feels! The plot! And the ending! I just- where to even begin?!! I was not expecting Smaug to let them go- that was such a sweet touch, and the last bit with him dreaming of her was just adorable! I could go on about how beautiful this was for ages but I think this is a big enough essay already hehe Definitely worth the wait- THE BEST DRAGON VIDEO IVE EVER SEEN!! "Fight song" might be good for Saphira- or maybe "bad blood" with her getting revenge on Smaug? Or perhaps "Angel with a shotgun" with all three? Bown, this was pretty pointless... you should have feched Eragon. The four of them would have obliterated Smaug and if need be, Eragon has the united armies of Alagäsia behind him, while Bown only has a few angry farmers and no magic...
Ok the armies would probably not have mobelized for such a personal matter, but Roran, Arya, Oric, Bleothgar, his remsining Spellcasters, Kuaroc, Glaedr, Umaroth and the other Eldunarì would have come along, maybe even Angela...
Hey...Catarina K. here ... XD the only thing I don't like about the video is Erik's - or rather, Smaug - voice...Too high for my taste. Either that or the male singer literally drops into an over-acting, edging voice in "Sprechstimme" when he begins to threaten Christine. If there ever was a singing guy singing this dragon either it would be any guy who can reach or at least sing "Fafnir'" (a dwarf in Wagner's saga which out of his lust for gold turns into a dragon) parts in arias in "Der Rheingold", "Schweig" aria from "Die Freischütz" from Weber... Or Tim Curry at least. Then again I know how Erik from ALW is associated with lighter, tenor-like ranges, giving a more chilling tone in certain songs. When I think of any voice for Erik I think instantly of "Nessun Dorma" or Freddy Mercury's voice. No problem in adapting songs which you like into other things you like :)
Sure he is much bigger, probably has the hotter fire and certanly has the stronger scales, but Saphira is much more agile especially in the air and probably can fly faster, but most importantly she has magic and this situation with Draco seem more than eneaugh to trigger it and then its damm strong! Also she is the only one of those three proficiant in mental combat.
This is such a sweet story, but I bet everyone felt bad for smaug
