The 1950s American immigrant story features Ronan as a young Irish woman torn between two lovers on opposite sides of the Atlantic. With a polite, handsome man back home and a brash Italian-American making his way into her heart abroad, Lacey has to choose both her country and her courter. I can't watch Saoirse in that crying scene, she is too realistic where it gets me upset. She deserves an Oscar. I enjoy all of her interviews. She is well respected by top directors and actors for good reason.

How in the name of god does she have a dub accent
Enniscorthy is nowhere near Dublin and with that accent she has to be from Dublin. How can you have an accent from a place you're not from unless you're putting it on??
She grew up near Dublin. But she's stated several times that she had to do a different Irish accent for Brooklyn since it wasn't set near Dublin (the Ireland scenes of course). She's amazingly brilliant at accents. Watch Lady Bird for example.
